I enjoyed GoW 2018 but skipped Ragnarok because of obvious reasons of race swap an actual Goddess. But I wouldn’t have mind a new GoW entry Faye if the writing and dialog weren’t cringe. But since Alana Pearce wrote it, hard pass on this one.

This game was great because they didn't have to rush it out. They had like a year of extra development because the movie got delayed. So instead of a generic capeshit game we got something that expanded on the original movie and had great gameplay to boot.
Absolutely criminal they didn't get Steve Blum to voice Wolverine. He's been the iconic voice since 2009. Which is a crazy long time.
I'm not really familiar with Liam Mclntyre. I'm sure he'll do fine but I don't know why he would be picked over a more well-known actor for the character.
I had assumed Sony got the same financial windfall from covid as Nintendo, but no. PS4 is still a current-gen console because covid prevented people from buying PS5 (if you take sales numbers at face value, which you shouldn't, PS5 userbase overtook PS4 in summer 2023). They didn't even get to benefit from a software sales boost, although they had a slight bump in 2020, their sales plummeted immediately after.
Just as the gaming really peaked in early 2000 by the generation that grew to make cool shit, millenials are also peaking in creating slops everywhere and infecting treasured IP with their insanity. We may have to endure their existence until they all go out of business or chinks/gooks buy up everything.
