I’d like to take a moment to bitch about Sony Hardware, and specifically hating how everything has to have an Internet Connection at all times.

Goddamn PS5 won’t connect to Wi-Fi, when literally everything else will. Fucking thing hasn’t moved from the spot it’s always been in and always worked at, I don’t get it, but the more I deal with technology the more I think Kaczynski had a point about technology…

I unironically believe that Sony’s dumb fuck decision making is largely financed by them playing shell games with Sony Music profits. The DEI/ESG/whatever the acronym is now money helps, but Sony has enough branches that actually make money that they can likely shuffle some around to paper over losses by Playstation or Sony Pictures…
 
Something I really noticed with the Lara Croft trailer is how it seems like despite their allergic reaction to giving female characters big boobs, Western developers seem completely fine with giving them spectacular backsides. It's almost like they are compensating in some way but I would still rather see the full package, a nice ass AND big tits. It's Lara Croft for fuck's sake.

Or maybe it's just catering to the increasingly non-white demographic, I dunno.

She's a professional liar. She allegedly works at Santa Monica Studio and yet at the same time she is a Twitch thot/fansly, was on the board of Creator Clash 3 (after the Johmas left) and has a production company that wants to make movies out of video games.
She is also known for wanting a pause button in Elder Ring because "mothers sometimes need to take care of their baby" (she doesn't have kids). She also pretended to be an artist but all of her drawings were stolen from other actual artists.

At this point, anybody still willing to take to X, Youtube, Reddit, or any other site and defend current Playstation games is either a shill; (amateur public relations people, wannabe brand ambassadors etc.) or online "fandom" types whose brains have been basting for years in Tumblr-derived leftist politics - and sometimes they are both.

Uncharted 4 is the worst game of the franchise and I think it killed it too. Druckman rewrote the script so he could have his friend Troy Baker as the main character again.
When Druckman took over he didn't hire back Greg Edmonson (who did the soundtrack for the 3 games and created the iconic theme), didn't want any supernatural elements in the story and no Donut Drake playermodel. Replacing Sully with Sam was a huge mistake too, and then there's the Nadine character...
 
Honestly I'm more impressed that Debra Wilson has managed to speedrun "Nolan North/Troy Baker fatigue", and they voiced fucking everyone back in their peak, to the point it was an actual joke from Troy Baker himself

Least those two didn't have the characters they voiced look like shitty scan jobs of themselves, though how much of that was video game protagonists of the time being "generic white dude with a buzz cut" influenced that is beyond me...

What a beyond shit idea, even if they still kept Kratos as the main character this would be stupid. They already got Jack Quaid to voice the jello cube for this, did they decide to poach the cynicism and retardation of The Boys where every being with immense power is actually an asshole deserving of death with next to no exceptions as part of the deal too?
