It's doubful that will ever happen. A Game being in third person is very broad. There is a huge difference in gameplay between Returnal, Ratchet and Clank, God of War and Horizon, the difference is even wider when compared to games like Farcry and Assassin's Creed and far cry is first person while AC is third person and yet they share more mechanics with each other than sony's first party offerings.

Third person perspective, loads of exposition, unskippable cutscenes, decent gameplay loop. I'm surprised you didn't mention Spider-Man (PS4) as that's the only Sony IP that deviated from that formula.
The gameplay is the main event, that's the part that matters most. Stuff like Exposition is part of the framework to the overall game, but it's window dressing.

I may consider playing Elden Ring on PC when I'll eventually obtain a full week, free of work and other IRL stuff, that allows me to play in long uninterrupted gaming sessions (especially for this kind of game). It could have been otherwise possible if the game was released back when my country forced two lockdowns in 2020 (which was also the time I was able to play DaS2 & DaS3). Until then, I play games in handheld format because I can instantly pause and resume anytime.
Or maybe Sony realized that TLOU is dead on the Playstation so why not let HBO hump the corpse for a bit. And at this point in time I don't see a lot of value in yet another fucking zombie show.
I'm not pretending either, and you don't need a full week of uninterrupted time for the game. You can clear most of the game in a weekend up to the point where you have to light the Erd tree on fire at that point finish whatever side content you want because that's the first point of no return. You can even do the Haligtree before burning it as well.
