Alvina is about the same age Sophia was when this thread was made. I definitely agree that she should not be involved in these discussions, for awhile at 14(?) she was surrounded by Birdie people who were considerably older than her and egging her on to reveal intimate family/life details. Very disturbing and predatory towards her, I don't think her two cents on everything should be discarded though, without her most of the more personal or egregious offline actions Sophia commits would only extend to being mean to her little brother or fighting with her parents.

Sidenote, I always find it interesting how in all of these types of people's "DNI" lists, it always includes proshippers/darkshippers, yet when you look at their content, it absolutely falls into what the people they claim to hate, like? Like Birdie drawing themselves mutilating Al, or shipping themselves with their character only to make it a dependent and violently abusive relationship. I know these people are hypocrites but that's one that never fails to make me want to bang my head into the wall.

This. Every time you come across these people, their own content contains the shit that they "don't want to interact with/have anything to do with." Sometimes their content is even worse than whatever's on that DNI list in the first place.

I will also never understand the point of DNI lists anyway since the types of people that are usually on them won't avoid said person just because some dumbass list tells them to

children or immature adults often confuse proshipping with actively enjoying and romanticizing horrific relationships.
proshipping is simply the belief that people should not be harassed over it, not enjoying it.

Soph the neko is not much fucking better than birdie when it comes to the "art" she makes. It's also disgusting self harm gorey garbage. She's a bit of a personal cow of mine and I've been checking on her from time to time. What really caught my attention is how she draws.

She also puts on a "tough girl" persona despite being soft as hell, sperging about social justice on her youtube community tab unprompted. It's so odd...

Come to think of it regarding minors getting harmed, the internet doesn't care. They became so used to a User being a bad person that they tend to go "fuck it" and profit off the suffering of the victim rather than make it to where they can help them. Most of the time the callouts against YouTubers are just money to be generated. A Perfect world would be not monetizing a child being exploited because the least you can do is donate that shit to victims or to help victims. How can I take a callout post seriously when the people who report on it sound like squeakers, edgy 4channers, retards, trannies or even TTS.

If you wonder why people don't care for the victims it's because it's now normalized to sit at a microphone and mukbang about ShadowLoverFan332 a "beloved" animation meme youtuber groped a 12 year old when they were 18 at a amusement park. It's become so popular to report on it, that the original topic shifts from Emile (The Standalone Victim in this scenario) and onto ShadowLovers various crimes especially the friend that they had named Blaze3232 being exposed as well years prior. It's usually seen as sloptent and doesn't help people because they see these forms of content and will harp on it.

So fuck any YouTubers who do it for a chore and doesn't disable Monetization they never care and they never would, this isn't drama content this is a situation and we need to call people out for treating it as entertaining, I don't want to hear about how Birdie cuts herself daily as entertainment, if I wanted to watch a bootlegged Saw Film I'd read the Playground book series.

I feel like it’s important to note that Soph used to go under the name Cyber Kitten, if anyone remembers that name. I think most of her videos are lost at this point. Unrelated but i thought it was funny that most sans fangirl YouTubers from back in the day grew up to be kind of insane lol.

I thought it meant certain dynamics (even questionable ones) can be represented in media but creators shouldn't be harrased for it if it isn't a fetish or portrayed as ideal or good. I saw in a YT comment on proshipping discourse that proshipping actually meant not being nasty about fictional cartoons kissing. Meaning, for example, if you like Naruto x Hinata and I like Naruto x Sakura, then we won't be bad to each other about fictional characters and instead repeat each other and be supportive of what makes the ships cute or fitting. Even if it's a weird ship like Naruto x Nojiko (a one-off no screentime character from One Piece). It never meant SHIPPING FATHER X SON INCEST AND RAPE IS SMEGSY UWU. It meant don't be a bitch about your fujoshi fantasies being ruined by another fujoshi fantasy or a straight pairing. If a fandom is calling out people for liking and making incest, bestiality, rape, grooming, pedophilia, and all sorts of horrid, abusive things look sexy, good for them. There should be no acceptance for that sort of thing, and even if we suppose it's only fantasy and none of them will act upon or support it, it's still a positive thing people will definitely be raising eyebrows when they see that. It means they have the capability to be decent people and condemn clearly bad things.
