This is a pet peeve of mine about identity revisionist history. Not just the troonery type (I’ve also seen it with gay and autistic headcanons), but it’s such a blatant ignorance of historical context in favor of feel goods. Gender roles aside, even if Berry considered herself trans (or what contemporary equivalent there would have been, considering how troonery as we know it today just wasn’t a thing then), we don’t know for sure? It was only revealed that she was cross dressing after she died. It’s so pointless to debate anything more than she was a cross dressing female doctor because we don’t know more than that.

I honestly forget that June is Pride Month most of the time as it is. If I’ve heard of this so called day, then I completely forgot because I don’t give a shit and there’s fifty bajillion more like it as it is.
It might as well be every day at this point. People have compared transgenderism as like a cult or have noted that it can seem very religious adjacent at times. There are so many days for especially troons now that you could easily make a feast day calendar out of it.
