Source of your Username

The name comes from when I was young and edgy and liked demonology.
Now I'm reasonably aged and still edgy and find an interest in demonology.
 
Lurkman was supposed to be a temporary username, until I came up with a better one, I was still trying to come up with a good username when I was making my account here and had no idea that I wouldn't be able to change my name later.

I still remember how shocked I was to find out I wasn't gonna be able to change it.

Wanted something completely random and anonymous and "oasis" was the first word that came to mind. Guess that was my impression of what this site is.

Changed the spelling so I wouldn't be the shite band. But now I think I'm a type of contact lens?
 
Mine was thrown together from stuff in a couple other tabs I had open when I registered (iirc I'd been looking at pictures of cute spiders in one tab, forgot what I was looking up about vampires).
 
My original was Jeff Jeff which I came up with by trying to make a really dumb name for a twitter that I use to vent. Now my name is Kiwi Jeff because I am СWСki Jeff at the СWСki Сlub.

Lazarus Hezekiah Owenhart, Defender of Silverspire, Hero of Waterdeep, slayer of Drow, winner of obscure card games the DM hasn't fully fleshed out because he designed them not to be won by a single natural 20 on Luck. Annoyer of guards, lover of bears (it was a bad campaign) and occasional doer of laundry! Pity the DM who tangles with his ability to fuck up every campaign he's involved in and dread my use of him as an NPC because things are gonna get HEROIC!

Mine comes from the old Namco arcade game Mappy (Namcofag reporting in). I added Captain at the front because it had to be at least a little less faggy.

I pretty much use the same usernane for everything else.

Holy shit, I remember gametalk! I used to have an incredibly shitty gimmick where I started all my comments with quoting the stupid gibberish Jonathan Davis, lead singer of Korn, used to spout in songs like "Freak On a Leash". God I was cringy...
