Other than how I think Spider-Man's suit looks strange with a white spider on it instead of a black spider, it looks good to me. I can accept the explanation of the differences being due to the sun being in a different position and video compression.

Came here to say that; I'm very fond of the Arkham games and even a few Spider-Man games from the past (I wish Shattered Dimensions was more interesting, personally) but I'm down for a Spider-Man game that plays like the Arkham series with a splash of colour.

People will bitch about anything though, especially super heroes, video games, and video games about super heroes.

Marvel comics have gotten so shitty I don't purchase any Marvel-related media anymore. But this game seems at least decent, and even though the suit is ugly, there will be skins-a-plenty anyway.

I loved Spider-Man on the N64, it was the first truly great Spider-Man game (though it hasn't aged well at all, like most 3D platform games from the era).

It seems like they really want to copy the Arkham formula. I’m not sure how to feel about that with Spider-Man; however, I’ll admit that it looks good. I also hold high hopes for it with the new suit leaks that came out. It makes it feel like the old Spider-Man game for the PS1, N64, and the Dreamcast, especially with unique abilties with the suits.

Yeah seems this can be quite fun like Spider Man 2 or Web of Shadows. I was playing fine range of spidey games, I totally can't wait. Only 1 week to go.
But the graphical sperging is surpassing its limits now. Many Youtube Videos left and right, all of salty nerds ranting about some downgrades the game gets and some fucking water puddles missing from the E3 build. There are no decent videos for the game on YouTube anymore. Scrolling down the search list for Marvel's Spider-Man/Spider-Man PS4; only total cancer is to see for now.
I hope we get fresh memes from this situation in the future.

Seriously though, I'm very much "meh" about this. I think I would enjoy it, but there's something about it which has just been bothering me about it. Might be the costumes (plural intentional, I loathe most of the villain designs), might be hype aversion, hell, it might be just the fact that its Sony + Spider-Man and I'm getting all sorts of angry flashbacks.

Still, hope it turns out okay, might get it on Black Friday.
