Eh, the setting was a big part of why the Arkham games were so great, and I doubt that's something that can be replicated in Marvel games.

So now that the review embargo has been lifted, Digital Foundry did a pretty in-depth look at the game (it's a 30 minute video lol) and it's been verified that the game hasn't been downgraded at all. In fact, it's actually seen a resolution and framerate boost since the E3 showings, as well as a ton of new graphical additions like having interiors to windows and shit.
So as usual, stupid outrage because apparently every game dev now is evil/EA.
Maybe tarding out at one photo comparison wasn't such a good idea after all.

Webs stick to stuff, you speed up depending on your momentum but it's not physics based. It's more about gaining speed to get around, could be fun but the focus is clearly on other things like combat and missions.

From everything I've seen so far the game looks really impressive, but engh the web swinging physics just look way too smooth and unnatural. Too bad, because everything else looks good.

Well, the Black Cat model doesn't look like it's been hit by a brick, so if anything it's like when Chris Chan draws himself as thin. I haven't heard anything too SJW about the game, maybe Insomniac just sat her in a corner and let other people do the actual writing?
