If the Bamham arkham games were made today they’d make you play as Catwoman for half of it and shit on Batman/Bruce Wayne all game because “capitalism bad”reject snoyderman, embrace batman arkham
In Arkham city you do play as Catwoman for about half of it except she's actually likable and pleasant to look at.If the Bamham arkham games were made today they’d make you play as Catwoman for half of it

I know that maintaining a balance between their hero and their normal lives is a common comic book trope, but not being a fan myself, ive only seen the normal life side of the argument represented. Has there ever been any portrayal of the super hero side of the argument?Soyderman, Soyderman
simps like no one else can
"What people really want in videogames are recreations of the arguments we writers have with our ugly, entitled nerdette girlfriends."
One trope I've seen is where the superhero blatantly gets too much into their alter ego and that starts impacting not just their everyday lives but also their personality. Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy is a good example of this, where "Bruce Wayne" eventually becomes the mask and Batman becomes his true personality, impacting his relationship with Alfred and everybody else.I know that maintaining a balance between their hero and their normal lives is a common comic book trope, but not being a fan myself, ive only seen the normal life side of the argument represented. "Im sorry that you feel that way MJ, guess i was too busy putting my own life at risk keeping other superhumans from wrecking your and the entire's city relatively safe life style that i didnt realize how insecure and frankly envious you are. You wrote a book, i save lives by the hour. Fuck off"
Maybe not with those exact same words, but something
I would love to see something like that against cunty Jane, but you aren't allowed to backtalk to strong whamen. Classic MJ would have never given Peter shit about this since she understood the weight of what he did AND accepted it for the good and the bad it brought, was one of the reasons she loved him after all.I know that maintaining a balance between their hero and their normal lives is a common comic book trope, but not being a fan myself, ive only seen the normal life side of the argument represented. It would actually be a good story if the woman stays solely because she wants to support the hero rather than actually loving him. Sadly, modern big city women are insanely egotistical, so any chance of actually calling them out on being psychopathic bitches is non existent. Even if it will make a good story.I know that maintaining a balance between their hero and their normal lives is a common comic book trope, but not being a fan myself, ive only seen the normal life side of the argument represented. I really can't stand this kayfabe that Miles is popular, let alone has a suit that even holds a candle to the shittiest Parker suit.Have you seen Miles’s suit?

That's a pretty interesting trope, too, and it would've been much better suited for the soyderman example here, too. Forget Soyderman and read the comics. The old ones, from the 60's and 70's, if you really get into it stop by 2015 as that is when Marvel Universe died(like I said)That's a pretty interesting trope, too, and it would've been much better suited for the soyderman example here, too. The more i read this back and forth the worse it becomes, without any context, this scene seems to be a "facing your demons" beat, confronting harsh truths, but hell, none of that reads as anything similar to even tough love, it's actually written very similarly to what an abusive woman would tell her man to belittle and emasculate him, prevent him from actually digging himself out of his hole
Now to be completely fair, i aint playing this game, all the context i have comes from these screenshots. For all i know this was done intentionally, some villian exacerbating Peter's fears by using MJ's worst traits against him and trying to break him mentally or something. If that's what they went for, okay.
Arkham City unironically has Catwoman segments that are fucking awesome because she plays differently enough from Batman to be a fun break away but doesn't slow anything down. Honestly the same fucking solution is right here. You want diversity? Make Black Cat playable, nix niggerman and give her the wingsuit. If the Bamham arkham games were made today they’d make you play as Catwoman for half of it and shit on Batman/Bruce Wayne all game because “capitalism bad”
Honestly just fucking copy the Batman Arkham formula. Have the game be focused on Peter and play as him %80 of the time with Miles and Black Cat be the Robin and Catwoman of this game respectively. You get diversity of gameplay + diversity points for that ESG score, chuds are happy because the limelight is still on Peter. Everyone wins, everyone is happy.Arkham City unironically has Catwoman segments that are fucking awesome because she plays differently enough from Batman to be a fun break away but doesn't slow anything down. Things like "the expert" are, in spanish, "el experto" (masculine) or "la experta" (feminine)
For some reason they use "le experte" which is french
Spanish twitch streamer muted the in game "podcast" audio, then a bunch of twitter users who don't speak spanish started to complain about him.
They latinx'd the game.
He's weak as a stand-alone protagonist so they have him piggy back off Peter. I actually liked him when he was introduced in 2011 but I'm starting to get sick of him as well.My hatred for Miles is increasing exponentially in recent years. He isn't relatable in any way, so what's even the point in him being a Nigger? He might as well be an alien.
The thing about Miles is that he isn't even black, he is some bizarre mutt fantasy that white people would rather have than the average reality of black people. Instead he is just an ebonics spouting hipster that behaves as someone who is smarter, richer and a bigger victim than everyone else. He's weak as a stand-alone protagonist so they have him piggy back off Peter. I keep forgetting he's not even fully black he's some black-latinx mix that drops random spanish phrases for diversity points. The way these games handle minority stereotypes is honestly hilarious. In MM there's a side mission where you record sounds across the city so you could sample them in a hip hop track. Insomniac really said "Black culture is hip hop and graffiti". And mixing up the Cuban and Puerto Rico Flags is another fun detail. It's about lib whites feeling better about themselves than actual cultural representation. The thing about Miles is that he isn't even black, he is some bizarre mutt fantasy that white people would rather have than the average reality of black people.
