Back in ~2010 (could be +- 3 years) Max Goldberg the owner of YTMND reviewed yotsuba for moot, found numerous security issues and rewrote the whole thing for him, from scratch, free of charge. Moot then wanted him to sign over all the rights to the new code and waive any credit as the author along with a bunch of other weird clauses. Goldberg told him to go jump and the new site was never used.

As much as I love that this happened, it makes me a little sad. We'll get more exposed to normgroids, 4chin might not survive and the rapefugees will rape the Sharty, and sooner or later we'll turn into the new 4chan with normie niggers "top 10 Sharty pranks". I think the best outcome would be for both the Sharty and 4chan to shut down.

what will actually happen: 4cuck will stay up despite this incident and sharty will be owned by the united states government too this time

It'll come back up, there will, maybe, be a single statement/post about what happened (but no, there will be no apology for such mismanagement, beyond maybe some stupid "oops sowwy" anime girl and maybe if we're lucky Gookmoot will crawl out from under his rock post a selfie with a thumbs up or something). Then jannies/mods will proceed to memory hole the entire thing and permaban anyone that brings it up. And wordfilter Gookmoot for good measure.
