It doesn't exactly fit the more obvious narrative takeaway of the Monkey's Paw (as in wishing for something with unexpected consequences), but the more general moral, "don't tempt fate." When I read the message I thought, "inb4 Schlog users migrate to the Kiwi Farms just to talk to @Creasman" in direct response to "Schlog users won't migrate to the Shiwi just to talk to him," and if that happened, the "monkey's paw curls."
