It's because certain members of this thread (which i will not name due to privacy reasons) engaged in unprotected sexual activity with Yuri Mikhailovich Kuznetsov when he was HIV positive. For most it was before Y. M. Kuznetsov went public about his HIV diagnosis, but for at least one member that I know of it was after the fact through bugchasing. Please remember to get tested folks, especially before and after any of our shiwicord irl meetups.

And for anyone in this thread who recently got diagnosed with HIV: Take a breather, it will be okay! Please approach any lgbt group you have nearby so you can get appropriate medical help. There are ways to prevent the virus from being worse.
You are going to be fine, I have been positive since '98 and it has actually made my health slightly better since it means I have to see a doctor and do bloodworks every month :D
