Looking back through the first couple of months of this thread is so odd, compared to now. I'm a nusoi to this thread (albeit I've been here ITT longer than like 50% of you guys, and I've read most of the pages in this thread). It's weird seeing how most of the early days are just

It's an odd site to see, I'm so used to this thread being used for more containment than actual discussion, but I remember when it used to contain "actual" discussion. I don't know how or why this thread went from discussion to shitposting, but I enjoy the shitposting, but at the same time the older days of this thread were more /comfy/.

In all honesty, I feel like the introduction of the schlog was the entire reason why this thread went from more of a 'shitposting' way. Giving too much attention to literal who nameniggers just caused slapfights between these two sites, and there would be users of the site who would come to this thread, just to discuss the schlog. The first instance of this happening was the entire X Immigrant scandal when he got his admin revoked on the schlog and was seething over some mudslime being banned. I remember seeing that this thread (that usually got like a page or two) getting like 8 pages in that day. Basically, X Immigrant was seething over his admin being revoked because he wanted xis beautiful hijabi kween to be on the schlog and Froot was telling him he'd never get his admin back. I feel like the advent of the schlog being like "wtf guys, look at what these kiwiiwickwiciwickcucks are doing!! What the crap is wrong with them!!!" and some person in this thread responding to what the guys on the schlog just kept unnecessary back and forthing and the thread became more focused on retarded nameniggers then the site.

Maybe I'm just yapping on for no reason, but I really enjoy the shitposting aspects of this thread, I enjoy creating OC, I enjoy making Null's clitty leak, but I also miss when this thread was less about the posters and more about the site. I really enjoyed
@LarpBait 's suggestion about splitting this thread into a shitposting thread and retarded other discussion, and this thread should be revoked to strictly sharty discussion. Combining the two is odd, because there are posters like
@Chudborean who don't really care for the shitposting side of this thread and merely talk here to discuss the site. I think this thread was great when it gave a neutral perspective to events that aren't documented on the wiki or gave more information that the wiki didn't provide.

I also feel like the way we designated ourselves as a splinter was also a main reason why we stopped talking much about updates, but instead talked more about general discussion. All the discussion that isn't sharty related takes place within this thread, for the most part, and we're starting to develop our own culture, which is an odd thing to see. I don't know why, but I feel like this thread is living through another /qa/ moment, but that might just be me being autistic.
- Thread starts with actual discussion about the site and talks about things heading towards the site, a certain group of the people on the site fucking hate us.
- Thread slowly starts to go from actual discussion about our site and more to shitposting. Most prior regulars of this thread don't show up anymore or left.
- The thread is mostly just shitposting, with most actual discussion only happening every couple of pages.
- Thread gets a lot more popular and the PPH of the thread mostly increased, with an increased focus on creating OC and creating kulchur that is vastly different towards the site we're based off of, and the site we're on.
- Being hatred by a vast majority of the users on the site, and mostly being treated as a joke by most "normal" users of this site. Mostly coming from the fact that we spam shit from our thread into their threads, which makes them angry.
- Huge hatred for jannies and the admin, with users constantly being banned for making the mods angry.
Erm, xisters is this merely a coincidence, but I feel like we're living through another /qa/ here. Might sound soy to say this, but I definitely feel like this change within the thread is quite reminiscent to how /qa/ was.
What will this end up in? Who knows, maybe we’ll stay here but I assume an ‘Operation Clean Stable’ esque event will happen someday. When? Who knows, I just feel like this thread is an eventual ticking time bomb until we fly close enough to the sun and end up pissing Null off hard enough that he decides to ban us all or nvke the thread. If that does happen, nobody knows what will happen to the Shiwi, we’ll probably just move on and forget about this thread. Maybe someone will start a splinter, who knows?
