Let's not even get into that. Nguyen Van Phuoc said it best:
>the little buddy shit Doll does is incredibly gay. You’re not even a YouTuber or Twitch streamer with millions of followers, you’re just a forklift operator who happens to run an imageboard about bald men with glasses drawings. I don’t need you to be my surrogate father.
Before I address your concerns I'd like to comment on yout previous allegation "You despise /soy/ because it's not the le... le sekrit klub anymore."
The Decline Of /soy/ and The Lost /qa/
The combination of the dramatic cultural, technological and environmental changes undertaken in the twenty-first century with the rise of social media and the degeneration produced by mass consumerism in the digital age created a crisis of identity among many internet users that the whole meaning of soyjaks were under threat and in danger of complete nihilism.
As the challenges of new online, offline and personal forces were shaking soyjak.party to its core, I conclude that what this imageboard is experiencing is part of the natural cycle of memes that rise, have a period of popularity, and eventually decline and die – a direct challenge to the normie idea that modern internet culture could continually be diversified as a result of humanity’s creativity. Coined by soyjak.party user Lee Clottson, “The Lost /qa/” captured the sense of rage and emptiness that many janitors of soyjak.party felt after witnessing the corruption of the mod team and questioning the values and beliefs that had inspired them to participate in the site in the first place. These themes of decline and rage that I developed will dominate the meme landscape in the mid 2020s.
So,
The whole point of rules on the 'sharty is to regulate things to a golden mean as much as possible, not to be followed to the literal word like a criminal justice system.
I disagree. I think the few rules we do have are too lenient. The Party’s 7 rules are essential for maintaining the quality. Stricter enforcement of these rules would ensure that the boards, specifically /soy/, are kept organized and fun, the meme magic is retained, and the quality of the shitposting remains high. No, there is nothing wrong about taking this unserious website seriously, and the serious board /q/ in particular. If you think I am too harsh, I can only ask: have you considered the quality of the memes we have been sharing recently? Have you considered how the board’s activity has dropped? Have you considered what happens to soyjak if the Party dies?
I think it's a dumb rule, but I do report every single Soylita on /soy/ that I see.
a famous beloved hamster dying.
No. You can't defend this. Why is it famous to begin with? Because the Party's lax moderation enabled it. If only it were posted in /qa/ or some shit, I wouldn't care.
Define Light IAS in how you see Doll sees it, and define pure IAS for me as well if you want this argument to go anywhere. You're assuming that both of us have the same definition.
Like I said, "light NAS" is a dumb, impossible to define term. This will get us nowhere. I doubt Doll has ever personally deleted/moved/whatever a post for being NAS on /soy/ or something. Even "heavy NAS". Please ask him yourself about his definition of "light NAS", which would be appreciated. As for "pure IAS", I have a simple enough definition. If it's on the Booru, it's unquestionably IAS. I believe the Booru should be the content whitelist for IAS on /soy/, thus solving the (nonexistent) problem of defining what's IAS and what's not. If it's ambiguous or something, then you should complain about the approver who approved it or some shit. See, it's simple.
