Just buy a new router and place it in a hut in the middle of nowhere. Then get gold, metal and all the other minerals to create your own 16bit gpu (free from fed spyware,) afterwards create the other components and start coding your own OS. This operating system would be different Linux because it doesn't have 50mb of proprietary code that has cia datamining. I've seen soyteens blame it on The Great Purchase, or on some soyjak related video getting popular in Xitter (examples include the Germany video and that one coaly redditbob video that Hypertranny made), or on Goongate. IMO, the decline of the sharty was a slowburn event marked by various catalysts that accelerated the decline, such as the aforementioned Great Purchase, the beginnings of twittertrannies finding about the sharty in late 2022, Trihard and Foodist faggots infiltrating the sharty through taking over Jackbox Raiding (which also started in late 2022), and much more. However, if I was forced to say one event that started or caused the decline of the sharty, it would be the fall of /qa/.

I know that people are going to oppose this take that I have and spew wordswordswords about how the fall of /qa/ was good and that it made soy culture more flexible and free from the influence of 4cuck jannies o algo, but let me ask you this: was soyjak.party ever supposed to be the main site for posting soyjaks? No it wasn't, it was meant to be a gimmick website for soyposters to funpost on when it was created, and the fall of /qa/ made soyjak.party the main internet space for soyjaks, for which it and Soot was not prepared for. First of all, most of /qa/ and not all of the soyposters of /qa/ didn't even migrate to the sharty, they just stayed in 4cuck. Second of all, /qa/ was infamous for having various discords dedicated to conducting gayops on the board, and when /qa/ fell, can you guess where at least some of these 'cordtroons went? You guessed it, soyjak.party. I am aware that discord activites existed on the sharty before the Great Soyset, but I feel that they started to amplify after the fall of /qa/.

The dancing swede 'p video was made in early 2022. Spadesonposting also started to gain traction in early 2022. Soylita was made in December 27th, 2021, and it plagued the sharty until Froot banned it almost 2 years later. Soyvil War 2 started in early 2022, and it involved discord gayops, most prominently on the Kuzist side. It is important to note that this war started the abominable practices of admin bootlicking and coordinated 'p spam (before the war, 'p was mostly posted randomly), meaning that this war is possibly the most destructive war in sharty history in terms of long term consequences. The first truly brimstone 'jak, Dogjak, was posted on April 2022 on Soybooru. Now how are all of these events (along with some others) related with the fall of /qa/? If /qa/ never fell, then these phenomena would've had an additional outlet to occur on, relieving some pressure on the sharty. Also, perhaps /qa/ never falling would prevent soyjak.party from being discovered by twittertrannies since those twittertrannies could instead go on /qa/? I admit that I'm skeptical of the latter theory myself, but /qa/ was an integral part of the soy community, and its loss left a hole that the sharty was simply unable to adequately fill.

Personally I think Soot should've shut down the sharty permanently and say that it was due to him needing to focus on his personal life. I'm sure most of the posters would understand, and while there'll be a few stragglers that derail Soot as the Antichrist and make their shitty splinter, I believe that they won't have made much of an impact anyways. In this alternate timeline, soyjaks could die an honorable death between late 2022 and early 2024 imo, instead of the current situation that we are in. Of course, there's a chance that in this alternate history, on splinter reaches and surpasses the sharty, becoming a major imageboard and attracting the attention of twittertrannies just like what happened OTL. Even without the hindsight of Kuz being a pedophile, Soot of all people should've known how much of a drama magnet and liar Kuz is. Alas, Soot had too much hope for the sharty, and look where it led us soyteens. The roal to Niggerhell is paved with gemmy intentions, after all.

TLDR: The fall of /qa/ put too much pressure on Soot and the sharty for him to bear, leading him to give it to Kuz and dooming the sharty into becoming brimstone.

This post was made with a mixture of browsing Soyjak Wiki, my rememberance of a few oldfag testimonies that I read back in the 'arty, and my own metanalysis of events. If you are a 2021 or older oldfag, then maybe you could give some insight and posit alternative theories about the decline of the sharty.

You didn't say anything wrong. Also, there were theories at the time of the great purchase that kuz was a cp spammer. The main idea was basically this. Cp is legal in Russia and kuz wants to buy the site. Therefore he will just spam it with cp forcing soot's hand into selling it.

Incomprehensible woahjack speak aside, I really do believe that Soot should have killed the sharty himself and let it die a good memory. Soot's sharty about a month before the sell-out was on a rapid state of decline due to neglect and really never recovered sense. It would have been nice to see him put the nail in the coffin himself and maybe leave up a memorial page akin to Shrekchan. Much of soy culture would have eventually passed on as the 'teens splintered off (likely back to 4chan) and could have taken their autistic soyjak culture with them. Then, at least, the joke of "making fun of soyboys" could have been preserved a little longer as it integrated into something bigger. It likely would have been more creative too due to the lack of discorders forcing coal and a greater set of targets generally for people on the internet.
We almost got a different ending to the sharty during the splinter wars era when Max was keeping the servers over Doll's head, but that saga ended in the coal of the century with froot reviving it to be his little playground. I wished the site ended there as well with the final post just being "Soor" with a treejak being posted, a fitting end for the sharty IMO. I'm sure most people would have migrated to a splinter, but even during that time there were still people posting soyjaks and soyjak edits. The splinters could have developed their own cultures, had light-hearted flame wars, and spawned their own subculture, but we didn't get that.
Instead we got zoosadists like @nigger froot taking the site for a joy ride by making it into a discord circle jerk that he wishes he could coal up with NAS baby monkey torture and dead images of children.

I think you're right, once Kuz bought the site, even if things did slightly improve at first after he bought it (filtering BBC was OK, 5 board plan wasn't a terrible idea), things did definitely worsen over the time he was admin.
Soy culture probably would have died in a more honorable way as well. No absolute brimstone like slopjaks
I can't remember when the OG SPVA thew in the towel, i think it was near the start of the Kuz era. First renamed the channel to /qa/ video archive, then deleted it iirc. In hindsight that wasn't bad timing, it was when coal such as Spadeson edits was becoming a lot more common, and i think he refused to upload things like that.
