Understanding /qa/ is necessary to understanding the sharty. It was never meant to be intended a meta board like /q/ in any way and mods didn't look at it, it was set up for one-time admin /qa/s and just left open. People just started crying about meta shit there. This was beneficial to 4chan's mods because they wouldn't cry about meta shit in places they actually read, and as long as the site rules were being broken anyone else could just shitpost with impunity so absurd spamming and shitposting was taken to its zenith. Unfortunately the jannies started to take notice when this hilarious fun started spilling out to other boards and /lgbt/ was raided with wall to wall hanging troonjaks.

This thread has a lot of potential. I thought about creating a Soyjak Party thread, but didn't due to being fresh meat.

The Soyjak Wiki has a lot of information about Sharty history, although it shouldn't be taken at face value since it's written by Sharty users.

As someone earlier said, there needs to be a writeup about the Dancing Swede incident, since it is the most infamous incident in the history of the site. Some Soyjak users are still scared to open images to this day.

The OP should also include something about their Jackbox raids, where they infiltrate streamer's games (targeting furries, trannies, and Vtubers) and start "chudding it up" (sometimes abbreviated as "ciu") by spamming Nikocado's coinslot and gore in the game and on the streamer's Discord. After successfully chudding it up, the Soyjak users mass report the Twitch streamer in an attempt to get them banned.

Most of the Sharty's attempts at this fail, since some faggot always blows their load too early, starts spamming gore in the streamer's Discord before the game even starts, and makes the streamer turn the game to invite only, but when they do succeed it's pretty hilarious.

Soyjak spammers are some of the most reprehensive, mentally ill people. They took a great meme (mocking consoomers) and turned it into white noise. I'd say early 2020 and the start of the variations and tracing was the moment the soy train went out of control.
The fact they co-opt old 4chan terms like epic win and >greentexting for the sheer purpose of shitting up 4chan and other *chan sites instead of actually going after real soyjaks on social networks is literally facepalm-worthy. No shitposter of old would go after chans.
One thing I do agree with them, though: /lgbt/ should've been deleted ages ago.
