While I'll defend the userbase at large from broad-stroke, collective accusations, I won't pretend like the userbase of an anonymous imageboard won't also have some degenerates in their ranks. But to go back to the Farms comparison: while there are inevitably going to be weens, a-logs, swatters, extorters, fedposters, and criminals with accounts here, if/when they post any of their type of shit, they (usually) get called faggots and face significant backlash from the rest of the userbase.

From what I've seen, the same is true for the sharty. CP gets spammed? Soyteens report the post, make posts warning others from clicking the attachment(s), telling "MOOOOOOOOOODS" to delete it, etc. BMT gets spammed? The poster gets a bunch of replies calling them an unfunny coalposting zoosadist faggot. Lolicon? Here's a post about a soyteen posting an IP-grabber in a 4chan lolicon thread, resulting in a huge thread of soyteens laughing at 4cuck lolifags and calling them pedophiles (also the multiple sharty users currently in this thread calling @Ridley a pedophile faggot and telling him to kill himself [which he should]). There is obviously going to be some amount of degenerates / pedophiles among the sharty's userbase - it's statistically inevitable with its size and notoriety, and the nature of anonymous imageboards makes it difficult to stop them from posting. However, the rest of the userbase - the overwhelming majority of the userbase - almost always pushes back on them.

The names are listed, the usernames of users confirmed to be a part of said groups are known here, (e.g. @butth3ad ) and theres a lot of evidence that hasn't been properly put together in one nice wrappable package to say.

The only person I'd really trust to tell a proper and unbiased summarized report is @Sprate Header due to observing the way he has reviewed and detailed events that have no bias and even standing his ground against veteran users when there are disagreements of opinion.

The previous digs I've done into the Foodists and Torswats have been some of the most fun I've ever had, and this topic is - believe it or not - an intersection of both of those topics. It's just that between IRL stuff, some final touches on the Torswats thread, and some behind-the-scenes stuff regarding the Goonclown leaks, I'm pretty stretched thin at the moment. I would eventually like to do this, but probably not for a while.

That shit has plausible deniability built in, and there's already cases where courts had to give up on forcing someone to decrypt the volume or admit to a hidden volume.

Like others have pointed out unlike Kuz, Doll isn’t some imageboard entrepeneur with the patience, money and autism required to run an altchan. He’s just an ordinary guy with a dayjob and a family so it was too much for him to handle. I don’t really see how he could have fixed the mess Kuz left him with.
