In some fairness, I have no idea who could possibly become the next owner of the sharty if that's the case. Froot does an awful job, and his entire plan was for him to be the "final" owner of the sharty. I remember him saying several times that he has no plans to sell the site to anyone else, so basically it's FDL forever. The only two candidates I assume would be the "next" owner of this site would probably be Mud/Quote or Mustard. That's if froot is willing to sell it to them, I doubt.
If mud were to be the owner of the site I'd just assume he'd do his usual, and just add more datamining. He's already added shit that can see whether you have der 'cord open, whether you're on phone, and whether you're posting from incognito so I guess just more datamining. He's already one of the admins for the janny cabal so I assume not much would change, but I definitely think he gives much more of a fuck about the site then Froot does.
As for Mustard, he implements good changes and adds new rules to the site (although short lived) like IAS only /soy/ and banning namefags. I don't know if he's as active as someone like Mud is because I hardly see him around anymore, but he seems to be fairly vocal with the community and has even spoken in the sharty voice chat a couple of times. If froot does end up selling this site, I hope it's to Mustard. If he doesn't, then business will remain the same, while the soysphere slowly starts to fade away because of bad management and other issues.
