In like mid 2024 the sharty kept getting CP spammed and CP stayed up for like 2 hours, so the developer of the site decided to take action against it and created a system called Media Pending Approval wherein new IPs and dynamic IP posters would have to have their media (images, videos, gifs, etc.) manually approved by members of the staff. This would make sure that there would not be any CP directly hosted on the site, unless a rogue moderator approved it (Which so far hasn't happened, I don't think).
Back in the day, the sharty had a HUUUUGEEE CP problem. Most of the time during 2020-2023 American hours were fine, but during late eurohours there would be a lot of CP spam during that time. A lot of it can be attributed to misordered staff and also maybe the fact that one of the ex owners of the site was a pedophile who contributed to the CP spam of the site. Due to the amount of CP spam on the site back in the day, drastic measures such as VPN bans and TOR bans were set in place.
Other splinters like soygem.party, swedishwin.com still have CP spam because they don't have the Media Pending Approval system like I mentioned earlier, so be weary of that. Those sites still get spammed with CP often.
Imageboards have been spammed with CP ever since they have been first invented. It's fucked what pedophiles will do just to try and take down the site or get the site into legal trouble. Most of this spam was coordinated by pedophiles on Discord, which is one of the huge reasons why the sharty has such a disdain for the site.

Yeah, I remember hearing about all the ceepee being posted. It was the main reason why I didn't want to enter that site for a long time. If there was one things soy jannies did right, it was implementing the "Media Pending Approval" system.

isnt it eurohours, but yeah the site is pretty dead, i swear posters have been on 300-450 average during amerimutt hours for the last few weeks, the event barely made the number go up.
i remember it used to be 450-600, reaching 700 during the sqlqmqn incident

I get that, but why would you even buy an imageboard in the first place if you're just going to hand the reigns off to some random fags from Discord? You've seen how Gookmoot ran 4chan into the ground by doing that. Doing the same thing and expecting different results is insanity.

I can't imagine the sharty is profitable. You said you don't want to be an autistic e-celeb, so I don't think you get anything parasocial out of it either. What gives? Why even skate?
