I think most (probably all) of the posters here weren't around when /qa/ died and are just trying to fit in. They're not exactly inventing brand spanking new material like that essay someone posted was trying to explain, they're just regurgitating stuff they didn't come up with. It reminds me of when /b/ was invaded by cancer.

You are right I think, but I think its moreso post froot era. During kuz era lots of gems we know today as important were being made. Doll was a pretty good influence on newteens during his adminship too, once you go past that its just people parading around effigies of old soyjaks and old culture like the cargo cult, IE they don't really understand what it actually means.
There kind of seems to be a worship of the old soyjaks, and I think its evident in how new soyjaks almost never take off, and are always attacked as "forced" (even though every soyjak is forced) and "attentionwhoring" (even though every soyjak is made for attention).
Froot administration has really taken the culture to a low point becuase of his (and his cohort's) bad influence. I think the site userbase is very impressionable by culutral norms therewithin. Froot being a loose cannon who makes the site his little fiefdom, taunts his userbase constantly, refuses to take the site seriousy and banning whoever he thinks it would be funny to ban rubs very badly onto the userbase and it's culture.
In a way the site is a mess just like 4cuck, (allthough less depraved and rulecucked) and if a massive expose like this one happened to the sharty management we would see a lot of crazy stuff. Its an authoritarian unhealthy regime now that is only being held together by a few things.

Froot is unpredictable and could stalin you if you pissed him off. Soyteens are wary of this.
If /qa/ came back I think it would've been very healthy for the soysphere by weakening the monopoly froot has and thus allowing for innovation again.
I think this event will probably have some rippling effects on the sharty we don't yet know of. Hopefully good
