The, "what if the protagonists are actually the bad guys" twist is a trope that has become incredibly pretentious and in the case of franchises like 40K, instead of being used to actually explore any sort of moral conflict it's used by the most obnoxious cretins to scold people for the crime of enjoying "problematic dark fiction", or being a fan of it in the "incorrect" way with a distinct lack of their precious "media literacy". Like the people who claim that 40K is or should be a deconstruction of all of the "chuds" in the audience. while constantly demanding radical changes be made to something they claim to be fans of.

From the moment I heard that nasaly voice, I recognised it instantly

It just flips the morality without any attempt to give it depth or nuance. Always with the implication that being the stronger side you are automatically morally wrong and must support the perceived weak side because only it has a justified reason for resistance. And once that idea comes into politics it results in people constantly arguing that their side is the weak side (despite having support from most billionaires and corporations).

My favorite joke was when they were painting the bombs and hatemonger says "oh that's clever" as if they're at a tupperware party or something and hatemonger is commenting someone explaining trick they use when baking a cake.

As someone who does not know anything about Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, I really enjoyed this episode, a lot more than the last one.
• Rudolph isn't psychic
• skipped lady deer[aka Clarice] (obviously)
• made the one guy be an alien lover vs elf dentist (still a misfit)
• Yukon wanting "money" tracks
• Bumble[Abominable Snowman] lives in the OG one
• King Moonracer vs King Space
That's the major differences anyway.

I liked the episode overall, but thought it wasn't as good as the others. Much less humor in this one, and not focusing on our favorite characters drags it down.

No mention of Retard Terry was annoying too.

I loved the new episode. I thought it was a really good parody of Rudolph. The only issue i got is having Hermey wanting to fuck aliens instead of him being the one to remove the creatures teeth and it being the capitalist character instead. It feels random for him and needed another pass at the script.

This and smiling friends are the only shows right now with the chops to consistently generate memes every episode

I always thought of him as being a one-off character, like the coagulators. Same with Rudolph, the alien fucker and the capitalist.
Completely focusing on a gag character that will probably never come back makes this episode feel like filler
I think that was the intention, this was suppossed to be a filler episode/ christmas special.
I don't know why they decided to give it the title of "Space King 4", to get more views, maybe?

Interesting! Before I go and actually educate myself on this show, I have to ask if it's from the team that did Ballmastrz9009 and Superjail? Because I see a few similarities in the short bit of time that I watched this. Either way, looks good and now I must watch it all.
No, those shows were made by Christy Karacas and Titmouse, for adult swim. Superjail, Ballmastrz, Robotomy are his creations. I don't know the last one.

They could have had some little inspiration, but not the same team. They are all unhinged and weird, even more than Space King.
Between Hatemonger's cock being fucked
I didn't see the uncensored version, but wouldn't it have been obvious if Hatemonger is a woman/black/alien from the dick? Knowing Reddit I am surprised they didn't dwell for weeks on the dicks.

From the youtube reddit QA video it looks like Hatemonger has a problem with his Duck. :sighduck:Is it bent? (:_(

Bryce is circumcised according to these. Propably a nod to the "jewish scientist" archetype of many Einstein knockoffs. He is the guy inventing crazy ideas.

i thought they were gonna have him say something about the gummy mouth being hot cause he's a sick pervert, but it did set up him saying he wasn't into aliens anymore because he had the sucky thing to use now.

It's weird, shriveled, and he's the only one who is uncircumcised, so his extra long foreskin gets in the way of the extractor. See for yourself:

I agree, also didn't high command specifically say Terry can't just join them? I agree with the people saying this didn't hit quite as hard on the comedy as the first three. That said, I'm hoping it's a result of them testing their limits. Having two in the pipe simultaneously doesn't necessarily mean twice the work. Having a semi-done script in mimicking an existing media would make a good test bed for seeing if they can make it work. Hopefully it's just them experimenting to see how they can accelerate the release schedule.
