You know what? Fuck it, I'm gonna watch Space King. Haven't watched anything by Flashgitz since I was a wee tot, so I'll see what I'll the fuss is about blind.

I gave up on them for a while because all they were doing was parodies, but I really enjoy space king and like Tom and Don. I’m glad to see they’re doing something independent and their own project.

Watched the first episode ...Okay, it's peak. Even though I'm a FILTHY FEMALE, I'm happy that there's finally a show for mentally ill teenage boys and 30 year old men like god intended.

Another little bit of context is that the power move took place at the Season one Smiling Friends wrap party. Even though Chris and Mick had a personal falling out over a BPD whore, it seemed that at the time Zach was willing to stay out of it and gave Mick work during season one. His stupid drunken shit was the final straw and hasn't been on the show since.

One thing to bare in mind, Mick and Zach both being in this episode doesn't mean that they've reconciled. Tom and Don could have simply cast him without letting Zach know, not that they have any obligation to. It's entirely possible that they've just worked with him in the past since he basically was in every popular Newgrounds animation at one point.

You're going to love the episode Field of Screams then. I really think either this episode idea came from either a pitch for Ballmastrz or this episode planted the idea of Ballmastrz, I wont spoil it but you'll see the connection towards the end and how its like the season 2 finale.

Iirc Mick supposedly did try to make up with Chris and apologized to Zach. Mick supposedly is sober and reconnected with his American father after years of being Taiwanese.

I do love how Tom and Don disdain subversion in media being the default. It’s not bad, but every fucking time it’s annoying. The expectations of the audience are not your enemy. Sometimes meeting their expectations rather than subverting them is better. I’d argue that meeting them and it being satisfying is proof of a good writer. You aren’t afraid of setting something up and it paying off.
