So I think in one of the Director's Commentarys (Probably episode 3) Tom, and Don mentioned that they aren't actually AA batteries, but "Power Cores" that look like batteries to fit with the characters being meant to look like action figures. I'll go rewatch it and check... Ooookay I rewatched it, but they didn't mention it in Episode 3, but I'm preeeetty sure they mentioned it somewhere. I went through all their content, and specifically remember somewhere them mentioning the "Battery" Power Cores.

The power armor and heavy firepower combined with fire support, both what they bring along and from fellow Imperial forces, and their unyielding faith go a long way into turning them into credible female warriors. They are also a boost to morale wherever they are deployed. The Emperor created the Space Marines to know no fear but the Sisters of Battle conquer theirs in the Emperor's name.

Bryce says "I need more power cores" in episode 3 during the time wizard siege, and then opens a compartment on dead Hatemonger's suit to pull out what look like AA batteries.

So I wasn't trying to disparage their equipment, abilities, and ferocity, just from my understanding of what I've read/quickly consumed of the lore, the Sisters in particular get their own miracles beyond what will happen for some of the other groups because of how the "magic" works in the series (Which I thought had only applied to the Orks in the past). Which is the lore explanation to justify the over the top horrificness of things like the Penitent Engines, and such. And not just to be awful for the sake of being awful.

Aaaanyways to stay on topic since I in particular am apparently not allowed to talk about WH40K in this thread. I've watched the Space King episodes so many times that now I'm going through other people reacting to them. Particularly Vtuber Girls. My favorite reactions I've found so far are from "Pipi Slayer"? She even watched the Tom and Don answering questions vid.

I do agree that in many cases, the fun is in watching the reactions of people with the episode. I forget whose video I watched, but it was a couple of black guys; and they fucking lost it in Ep 2 and 3 when the "Be Positive" part came. Especially in Ep 3 where the kid is white, but in that one second where the Blood sign is thrown up, the hands doing it are black.

Sorry, I was trying to agree at such length that it seems like I'm disagreeing, A common pitfall of mine. But it must be said that as many, including Tom and Don, agree; The Sisters have absolutely amazing aesthetics in their design.

Yeah yeah I forgot to mention that I really like their theming in particular. They mix two of my favorite things together, Battle Nuns, and Armored Girls. All the factions in the series seem incredible, but the Adeptas Sororitas in particular stands out to me.
