My problem with this, is that Space King's "helmet" might be his actual head, as the "mural" of him torching the Alien Girls shows him covering the eyes on the "helmet" instead of the mouth where his head would be like where the Psycho Warriors head's are. I think this was also mentioned as an aside in the Tom and Don reacting to theories video.
I haven't seen anybody else mention it, so maybe it's just me, but I thought that Space King was meant to look like a caricature of Trump, as he looks a bit like some of the caricatures I've seen, and there was the whole "God Emperor Trump" meme that I've seen around before.
This is the best example I have of what I'm talking about as I don't feel like scouring around Trump caricatures.

I honestly don't see it, if that is so then it's incredibly subtle.

I don't think that fits the theme of "boys playing with action figures and larping as soldiers". Like we all did that. My brothers, friends and I would run around with capes and lightsabers and sticks and be wizards and shit. Space King being Dad or an older brother makes the most sense thematically.
When Space King comes back he's taking the boys out for beer and steaks nuggets and ice-cream.

I like the idea that space king would be an the equivalent of an older brother that went to college/military school(like Francis in Malcom in the middle), but that would lend credence to the idea that the crew would all be brothers, also like Malcom in the middle. Chestnut maybe being the youngest and captain being the second oldest. If they were all friends, maybe space king was the legendary friend that had to move away because his parents got divorced lol

" for your rejection of boobies, your loyalty to me and your bravery in the face of danger. I award you with the gift of num nums"
Protection of my virginity has granted me the title of Space Wizard and unlocked powers beyond mortal comprehension. When Space King returns he will get me a large fry because I have proven my ability to finish it and not waste it.

Some fag made an hour long video about Space King and it's "politics", at around 52:00 he mentions my KKK Psychowarrior drawing and seethes.

I don't know if the video is supposed to be ironic or not, I didn't watch the whole thing.

This is so fucking gay. It takes him forever to get to a point. He has to describe what Space King is, what 40k is, how they're related, before he makes a super brief comment about how he thinks the humor is gross. He doesn't think the hatemace enema was funny and that should tell you all you need to know. I guess his main critique is that Space King isn't doing enough to warn the audience that hate, racism, and misogyny is bad. He doesn't know what humor is. He tries to say he likes edgy humor, but not if it comes at the expense of someone else. He says he's bi-sexual which really just means he's a fag that knows he's a fag but is afraid to admit it. He's also a jew and stopped watching them because Flashgitz did a holocaust joke one time.

It's been a long time since I've played a Halo game, why doesn't the suit have an armored codpiece anymore? The way the grieves curve around like is framing the groin as a target, which is only protected by that soft, flexible under armor.

Of course he has a bluesky account

And according to him, he mentions politics in his superman video, what the fuck does Palestine, Ukraine, and Donald Trump has to do with superman?
I bet he's one of those people that think "everything is political" even tho, he is the one forcing it.

He also bitches that someone mentions his video on plebbit like nigga, what did you expect? You titled the video "Is Space King Bad?" of course people will be upset with you.

And again what the fuck does Alex Jones has to do with Space king?

It never ceases to amaze me how people look at Space King and immediately sperg the fuck out about what political views it may or may not espouse or make fun of.
My takeaway, as a media literate 250IQ intellectual powerhouse, is that Space King is awesome, praise be to Space King, fuck aliens, and girls have cooties.

I've been working my way through the Circle Eleven video essay, and a line came up that I audibly went "Oh, my god..." at(Apart from dragging out the festering corpse of GamerGate in an attempt to appeal to...Someone).
"The end-roll ad for the first episode makes it clear that FlashGitz is positioning themselves as 'anti-woke' creators, without using the words 'anti-woke'." [...] "This ad is meant to court a specific audience of straight men who are angry at wokeness, and want to give their money to something that will validate their views"
Ignoring that he basically just said "People will pay money to creators who make content they agree with, shocker", the line he refers to from the end-roll ad goes as follows:
Tired of all your media being filled with the lamest shit possible?
Want a show that doesn't hate your male power fantasies but embraces them?
There's plenty of independent animation that caters to mentally ill teenage girls...But what about mentally ill teenage boys? And 30 year-old men? Don't we matter, too?
That's a Professor-Impossible-level reach to connect "male power fantasy for mentally ill teenage boys and 90s/00s kids" to "anti-woke". It's like the moral panic that attempted to surface when we got the DOOM Eternal "Demon is a derogatory term" line - People grasping at straws so far apart they're in different time zones.
Anyways, I continue to reiterate:
Sometimes good media is just good without needing to be political.

I’m completely convinced a big part of the joke of Space King is that every fucking show and every fucking bit of media needs some deeper meaning or to subvert some trope and when something comes along that simply is what it looks like people lose their shit and can’t comprehend it.
In some video where they were going over theories from Reddit one of them was about “Space King will be a washed-up loser when they find him” and the creators said it would be a bigger twist at this point if Space King was the awesome badass our characters believed he was.
I love this show because it’s not poisoned by irony, but that’s apparently just too out there for the modern audience. It’s like the completely unrelated 40k universe, it’s dudes with cool armor and cool guns doing cool shit and fighting aliens and that’s what it is and that’s why it’s fun.
PRAISE BE TO SPACE KING, FUCK REDDIT!
