I don't have a problem with it. For some things like radio it's nice to have a log of what was said previously, but the technology exists to transcribe chat roughly so I don't think this is an unsolvable problem.

Breaks too much of the game, from minor stuff like brain damage and getting drunk to major stuff like Changelings, any stealth features, logging, and a whole load of other stuff.

Plus it's just not necessary, not every game needs voice chat and the way the games built itd be so hard to tell who is even talking.
