A resource I end up coming back to for hard science fiction spacecraft information is:

A lot of the information here is quite simple to understand because it is for writers resource. It gives you a pretty good jumping off point if you are into that sort of thing.

My favorite hypothetical spacecraft is the Apollo Block V and Block IV from Eyes Turned Skyward. My IRL favorites are the Boeing Starliner, Soyuz 7K-T and OV-099 Challenger.

In the future I want spaceships to look exactly like nautical ships of the wind sail era and have an atmospheric bubble shield so the crew and passengers can walk around on deck.
I want spacecrafts in the future to look like the VentureStar.

Can we also discuss fictional spacecraft? Because I would like to get in Andromeda Ascendant. Rommie is the best warship waifu

Absaloute maddness that the voyagers still funciton

The thought of how something that was laucnhed in the late 70s is still giving back data is bizare enough but the fact that something human made is in interstellar space is both terryfying and conforting at the same time like that part in end of evangelion where unit 01 serves and the only reminder to humainty existince and that even when earth is swalllowd up by the sun and all of humanity and its history cease to exist, they will still be out there going where nothing has ever or possibly will ever go

And thats not even mentiong their impacts on planetery science giving humanitys first indef look at all of the outer planets and their corrasponding moons with it's findings still influcing science to this very day 40-30 years on

Truly humanitys greatest feat of exploration
