Here's a couple of screen grabs from their server. He doesn't run the server, but essentially outsourced it to some of his supporters.

Jesus Christ did All Tomorrows make it big this summer. I wonder how Kosemen feels that his "cringe" book from 15 years ago has made it this big. I hope this fandom of sorts doesn't devolve in the run of the mill kinnie stuff with ridiculous OCs.

The Speculative Dinosaur Project, or 'Spec', was one of the most extensive "what if the dinosaurs* didn't die out?" thought experiments/exhibits of evidence that people have too much time on their hands. The site has disappeared, the content being spread across a couple of those risible fandom wikis

Which is still preferable to being hosted on a yahoogroup.

An evolved protoceratopsid, one of the poster children of Spec.

* Or 'non-avian dinosaurs' if you're autistic, or a paleontologist. Which amounts to the same thing.

In what way? Links, man. Links.

Context: All Tomorrows was rediscovered and everyone started memeing the fuck out of the strange imagery. I'll just let this explain itself.

Alt X Shift made a 40 min video going through the general plot of AT and the darn video is over 4M views already. It even compeled Koseman to make an actual print of his book + rewritting and redrawing the whole thing.

Video on which Koseman talks about remaking the book.

I'm going to get that book, when it coming out.
I'm really excited to see if some of the new illustrations are going to show more of the different post-Gravitals humans.

Here are some of my favorite videos:
This guy is making a new video every couple of days highlighting a different species in AT.

They are pretty good for being a one man project with so little time, but then he released this today.
Knowing the mantelope backstory and ultimate fate makes it hit in the feels real hard.

For something more lighthearted. WIthout a doubt the snake people are my favorite.

It be so cool if someone began work on an all tomorrow video game. Personal preference would be the second empire period.

in 2020 Netflix came out with a documentary series called Alien Worlds about life on four different imaginary but plausible planets. It used high quality CGI to realize the aliens and their environments, but I guess as a result of how expensive it is, each 40ish minute episode has maybe five minutes of actual aliens (i.e. what you actually came to see) which it recycles throughout the episode, and the rest of it is filler. Oh well.

so theres a specev project i found recently called serina which has been around since about 2015. to give you a brief summary, it's "what if we took domestic canaries, swordtails, ants and other various insects, and plant life like sunflowers and bamboo, and we just chuck them onto a moon with life and let nature take its course through millions of years of evolution?" generally speaking, the project is actually pretty decent, albeit the naming of creatures can get a bit tumblry if you will.
i will refer you to this video if youre interested
as well as a link to the site if you want to see more
