The @CavemanDCI twitter account is gay and fake as shit. You'd have to be terribly gullible to believe it's him. Yet I can't blame you with how abysmally bad most troons have become at presentation. A 100% shitpost from 2021 is just reality in 2026.

Here is Caveman's last GDQ2024 play that I can find, notably after the 2021 registration of the fake Twitter account. He's largely sworn off social media that I can tell. The AGDQ2025 recording he's supposed to be in is mislabeled; he isn't there. I know it's already been #deboonked but why would you trust reddit over a live feed of a genuine, unblemished male?

That was the last GDQ I bothered seeing live, and probably the last time GDQ wasn't a troon majority. I believe the pronoun meter came in the next year. It's 100% advertisement now, either for the trans ideology or for the games #bold enough to pay a spot to be there, like the aforementioned Paths of Exile 2 or Mindwave (farm-certified Fresh Troonslop)

I'd say that for the standards of GDQ where they still managed to raise 3 million dollars despite a continuous decline in viewership, 100k dollars less is still a significant loss. You need to keep mind that a huge part of these donations is sponsor money. Even then, it's still not as bad as when they decided to host SUMMER Games Done Quick 2023 from MAY 28th to June 4th. You can compare views and donations across different editions here.


I'm not an expert on charity fillings (nor US law) but I'm pretty sure they take some cuts. I remember when Apollo Legend made a video about GDQ and some people in the comments pointed out that it's very common for charities to take a chunk of donations for administrative purposes.

But they did explicitly donate money from twitch subs and bits to cover expenses, including hotel cancellation fees during AGDQ 2023 (because Florida tried to pass trans genocide laws at the time or something). Well, maybe not so explicitly considering that it was written at the bottom of their twitch page.

Fucking hell I hate these people. I would be so pissed if I found out my charitable donation actually went to funding the dilation station for the trannies on the GDQ staff instead of kids with cancer.

.... Back on topic... the real surprise is that GDQ is even still running. I stopped watching them in 2020 when the no-fun nature was just too much to ignore. I thought for sure they would be dead by now.

It wouldn't go to kids with cancer because as mentioned in this thread before, Prevent Cancer Foundation is focused on cancer prevention (duh) which they do by printing leaflets with the most basic advice. Oh, and also by making a chatbot. [A]

But hey, at least they can justify publicly showcasing their fetishes when speedrunning an obscure Super Mario World romhack because they're raising money for a charitable cause, and only few people check what charities actually do before they donate to them.

The Rocko run was absolute lightning in a bottle and nothing before or after will probably ever come close in how thoroughly it bamboozled the GDQ staff. They took the opportunity presented by the Wu Flu to avoid responsibility as much as possible and it really bit them in the ass in the funniest and most deserved way possible, they had multiple opportunities to catch this before it graced the online airwaves but instead they made history with some absolute cinema.
 
This really is a case study for how badly the HRT/AGP groups infest a platform and push it to be only about them. It's vile to see they are flat out denying completing runs unless they get the right virtue signaling donation.

It's also really incredibly accurate how that joke about HRT hitting the nerd/geek community worse than crack in the ghetto in the 80's has come true.

It's amazingly sad what has happened to a whole generation of young men.

Years back when I'd still watch GDQ I'd get sick of hearing the same "Greetings from Germany" message over and over.

Now that I've given them another chance most of a decade later, all I hear is "Trans Rights" and can't help but wish for the Germans again.
 
I find it fitting that a genre of eSports where people find glitches and bend the natural laws of a world to break it's natural flow of order and reality in order to end it faster are all troons out, it checks out with what they are doing IRL.

I can't remember the last time I tuned into a "(X)GDQ" event and the majority of time I wasn't being admonished for not supporting Trannys with my money. Here's hoping it continues to sail into irrelevance. I'm quite sure when the GDQ events can no longer fund themselves or some financial scandal happens that ends them (like a Tranny stealing 10's of thousands of dollars), the downfall will be pinned on Transphobia and just another example of Trans genocide, I'm sure. Self reflection and adaptation are not strong skills in this cohort.

Speedrunning to trans is more accurate. The vast majority of gamers just want to play their game in peace. There's something specific about the autistic mechanics of min/max speedrunning that seems to be a high indicator of Trans proclivities. It's almost like mental illness, Trans, and speedrunning overlap greatly on a Venn Diagram.

It's because speedrunners are ~special~ gamers and much like being trans, there isn't an actual requirement so you can just pretend you're part of the group and put in no real effort.

You can put up a bunch of bad times in a game that literally no one plays and then show up to GDQ like you belong there.
 
I remember when CalebHart42 (ex SuperMetroidGalaxy iirc) has problems with GDQ years ago about sexual abuse with a nigger.
Of course, that tried to cancel him with it. Even his timers on speedrun are removed on the main speedrun webpage 'cus of that.
Man is authentic in stream and was scared at that time.
He got pizza'ed and swatted once.
He even done a shirtless speedrun with TriHex at 2014. Oh man, time flies.

Actually very insightful, I hadn't considered the viral marketing angle but that's definitely an avenue Grinding Gear Games would take to keep POE2 in the public zeitgeist.
