i find it fucking funny that they only confirmed the lgbt shit of most relevant established characters through external "pride" celebration one-shots.

makes it easy for people to ignore that shit.

i do wish they just let hickman do whatever he wanted and not kick him in the dick 2/3rds through his grand story. it seemed to be leading to a really interesting route that we may be forcibly stagnated on. (funny how they say wolverine/cyclops/jean are "polyamorous" when its just an excuse to be able to write jean as close to either of them whenever they want. It's even funnier considering that they turned one of Marvels beloved romantic triangles into a poly relationship but were only brave enough to confirm it via a "pride" oneshot that'd only be available in the first world west. almost like it's just pandering consoomer shit.)

man just let wolverine fall in love with someone else that isn't jean. i want them to just finish this krakoa shit before it lingers around too long.

we've already confirmed that
-Onslaught's infected pretty much every mutant.
-X-Men and other mutants haven't been quite themselves in varying ways.
-

there's something going on and I really want Hickman to fully flesh it out. the sheer amount of unanswered questions exists as a motivator for queries here.

I wasnt aware of this, what a shitshow.

Are Logan and Scott gay for each other or is it just a thing where they both get to bang Jean Grey?

I'm 99% sure it's the latter and that it may potentially be influenced by psychic fuckery.
Jean "Turn 'em gay to make 'em pay" Grey strikes again

i get the feeling we're working towards the idea of Onslaught corrupting all mutants and turning into a fucking hedonistic shitshow. sort of makes sense.
Not to spoil excessively but I think they mopped up the Onslaught thing in the Onslaught Revelation one-shot. It seems to be a segue from Way of X into another Nightcrawler-centered book.

Inferno #1 hit today, and as expected: it's pretty good, and I'm gonna miss Hickman like hell when he's done with the X-Men.

Nightcrawler's my favorite X-Man.

I'm legitimately surprised that they've never even considered him as a candidate for the Avengers given how much of a genuinely good man he is.

Hell, I'm just surprised that the X-Men don't have anyone being a member of the current Avengers given how it'd align with the current focus on the Avengers being a global operation and that the mutants should be friendly enough to have a rep on the team. I mean, Hickman's not using all the X-Men, right? They can easily slot someone that isn't getting a ton of use in the current X-Books but is still a veteran X-Man. (Jubilee would make sense given the vampire-related plot thread in the current Avengers book. Or maybe they're gearing Colossus up to do something?)

I always enjoyed the 2000s era twist that Cyclops ended up being the warrior compared to Wolverine joining the Avengers and starting a separate school.

This was a good week for the X-books. I'm not looking forward to Hellions ending, as there are few things I enjoy more than Sinister being an absolute prick, but it looks Inferno is going to be giving my fix of that.

The superman 78 comic is so cheesy it kinda feels like I am reading something straight from the 70's era. Its been alright so far.

I hadn't read it yet, but the cover reminded me just how weird Gene Hackman looks in full chrome-dome mode.
