The sperging on Twitter is kind of funny, if rather predictable.

Colin Kaepernick wants to help people make comics - by eliminating the people who actually make comics, using AI

Feels kinda weird to agree with Gail Simone and Dan Slott about anything, so mabye I should want this to succeed? 🤔
Under Kaepernick's previously mentioned post, a host of comic creatives shared their misgivings about the project. Gail Simone called the idea "so, so incredibly disappointing," Tom Taylor said the entrepeneur was "promoting the theft of art," and Dan Slott requested of Kaepernick: "Please don't do this."

Never forget that Dan Slott is a 57 year old man whose latest controbution to comics is the new Spider-Girl. I honestly think that he has been using AI for ideas for a while now

Kaepernick's afro is so odd looking that it looks like you need a lawn mower to cut it. The only time I've ever seen anything like that.

What are the copyright laws regarding AI again? I’d really like to know in case I ever want to write comics so I don’t get sued to oblivion.

Off topic:
What would happen if Marvel banked on the furry thing and tried to do the whole “UwU“ thing? Would it piss off the actual comic book fans?

Holy fuck, I knew the J-genes are dogshit but holy shit. Got a tangent but I thought of it while watching X-Men 97.

It will never not amuse me that Magneto, especially in the recent show is a tall, unagaing, freaky cut gigachad, apex of both his races, who wisely cucked a disgusting french….. and in contrast, the Marvel kikes are all unhealthy monster-men who are aging prematurely.

That’s the big secret btw, X-Menfags who complain about Magneto shilling, he’s the self-insert for the majority of the company. They look at him and they want to be him.

Slott doesn't live the healthest lifestyle in the first place. I don't think he will make it to 70

I'd imagine it would be a Spider-Ham reboot since Marvel is that creatively bankrupt, and because Spider-Ham is awesome I doubt the fans would complain.

Furries spend a lot of money, but they're very niche, so more people would spend money on the books, but there'd be less of them. There's a reason indie furry comics never take off, or furry artists like VG Cats or Jay Naylor eventually just draw porn. Unless it was a furry porn comic, it probably wouldn't make money.

Thank God for that.

I might be late, but they're adding an extra page to the comic that you can scan and read. It's on public pages, so you can just freely share the link. There's no actual DRM on it

I dislike Marvel for everything they've done after maybe ~2016(?), but this isn't too bad. They don't pay too much for adding that QR code on the page vs printing a full color page
 
Rereading the 4 Tomb Raider omnibusses that came out several years ago. They're fun stuff tbh. Top Cow did a great job. For all the shit Lara got back in the day, she's certainly independent and knows how to play chess in her dealings. She's not gratuitously in bondage or any damsel shit in it either. It is a far superior cry to nu!raider.
 
Reread Absolution and :Rubicon. Enjoyable books, dead simple.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Year One Deluxe
Then Year Two
Then Shattered Grid.

Once it gets past that there's a dip in quality those three are like gold standard of comics though.

And what beautiful image or message did he have to contrast Christianity besides images of horrific depravity and death? What boundless creativity has he made that promotes beauty and good works?

It's all so hollow and empty.




On a happier note the predator vs wolverine comic was pretty fun. I like the idea of wolverine having a on and off again rivalry with one that he barely remembers and has to piecemeal out of order
