I always forget that a ton of those black legacies are Bendis. Also not surprised he's one of those celebrity weirdos that exclusively adopts black kids.

American comics has never learned anything good from manga, because the things that actually make manga successful are anathema to modern American comics.

Specifically,
1. Affordability.
2. Demographic targeting.
3. Weekly/Monthly release schedule.
4. 100% merit-based.
5. Experienced editors.
6. Rigorous artist mentorships/training.
7. Author retains some ownership rights to the characters and stories they create.

Rick being Clark’s new neighbor (whose grotesque personal habits Clark can hear) and he’s just 1:1 Fatrick.

i'd be offended just if absolute was everywhere, but frankly i'm more offended modern deadpool, not just that but crossover slop, is not one, but 2 slots

i'd rather just have tom king and joker spam back than have rapid villains from the gallery used, but they're all shit "reimaginings" and shit like "it's maam" wonder woman

marvel did ultimates better with less fuck ups imo, and with shit like venom it was still venom just new hotness, instead of shit like "what if the joker from arkham asylum's final fight was the entire character"

Honestly, I think King was one of the last writers to write the Joker not poorly.

His Joker was just normal Joker for the most part

One of the greatest artists to work on the Hulk, the Defenders, and all around one of the greatest to ever work in the medium. Plus, you can't leave out Rom: Spaceknight. And to think, earlier in the AM that day, I saw people posting general reminders it was Buscema's birthday, with examples of his work...

Spider-Man could have been that, or used to be that, before Marvel decided to turn Peter into the man that has been cucked to death.

I wonder how long it will take them to turn Bruce into a cuckold. They might even go and reveal that Damian is Bane's kid for funnsies.

Seems to be the only thing Marvel really has going is Spider-Man and X-Books.
Batman is definitely the keystone of DC but I feel like the overall spread of content is better.
