I felt Matt Ryan was excellently cast as Constantine and did a really good job. It was a real shame they cancelled his show because although it had a lot of rough edges the man himself nailed it, imo. He was actually good in the Arrowverse episodes he appeared in as far as he could be in that format (which wasn't very far).
 
The upcoming New Warriors comic looks like a real "winner". They got a fatty, twins named Snowflake and Safespace (one is non-binary), a badly-dressed Goth, etc. It's also telling how the writer was too intimidated by the original team when he was young.

I know, these characters seem like they should be in a parody of SJW comics.

EDIT: Especially now that I found out this about the SJW twins Snowflake and Safespace: "They’re hyper aware of modern culture and optics, and they see their Super Heroics as “a post-ironic meditation on using violence to combat bullying.” They're probably streaming this. "

Pro-tip, terrible hack writer: it is never the jock guys who are 'non-binary'. Never. If you had to make them a genderspecial - and it seems you had to because you have no actual talent, just SJW 'own the incels' buzzwords - then jock-types trooning out is a thing. But then you have to deal with the issue that they never actually pass, and so your buff dude pretending to be an uwu anime princess is going to look as ridiculous as they do in real life, which will of course get you REEEEEEEd at for being transphobic.

I saw someone post character designs of these characters on Twitter and thought it was a joke parodying Marvel's awful attempts at wokeness. I can't tell satire from reality anymore.
