Let's not forget this little gem:

Acting or not, that is spoiled tard written all over it.

Chris is spoiled in the "Spare the rod, spoil the child" sense, but he was deprived in the material sense. Sure, he got some vidja games here and there, but he loves "The American Rabbit" and "Filmmation's Ghostbusters". Borb got his entertainment from the VHS bargain bin, and his clothes.

Not to mention his education. Borb would rather move and buy Jaguar cars than take him to an "institution", i.e. a private school.

Yeah there's a reason why kids preferred The Real Ghostbusters. And having seen The Adventures of The American Rabbit as a kid I can say that it's definitely bargain bin for parents who didn't want to upset their kids. Barely anything happens in the movie and the ending is so anti-climatic.

Yeah, I mean, we don't really know the extent of the materialism that encompassed Chris pre-tugboat and evidence we do have is rather dodgy. We know that Chris at least had Sega and Nintendo consoles (and according to Bob - I think from the church audio - older gaming consoles which I justify as Bob being kind of a tinkerer of sorts with this stuff in his retired years). We also know that Chris won a thousand dollar shopping spree when he was 11 or twelve. He was still wearing Goodwill clothes. And then there's the matter of his taste bargain bin cartoons and the photographic evidence of fake Lego sets and that Gumby game for the GBA.( )
So, I guess Chris got a lot of stuff, but it was either things that were interesting to Bob (vidya in general/the impression that his retarded son was a computer whiz) or cheap, half-assed gifts/clothing from Barb (who instilled the belief in quantity over quality).

I think the dumb luck of winning that Sonic contest made his sense of entitlement much worse.

That might actually make sense in a way if Chris actually earned the money he used to buy them.
Absolutely. Unfortunately he didn't earn the money.
What, you mean enduring all that "cyber-bullying" and "stress" from all those LULZY, SHITFACED TROLLS over the years doesn't qualify as "earning"?

Oh, totally. It was the first time that doing something of little-to-no effort granted him big spending money, planting the seed in his mind that eventually grew into his tugboat entitlement.

When people think "spoiled," there's the connotation that the parents have some sort of misplaced/improperly-expressed affection for the child in question.

Chris, on the other hand, got no such affection. Basically, it was "Here's what ya wanted so you can shut up already."
This.

In that You're Always Pretty video, we see how Barb actually despises him.
I can see how she won that Mother of the Year Award.

I really love the way she growls, "Eat yer food."

Just the once though. All other years were won by the television.

I love how he claims his trolling earned him his tugboat, even though he was receiving a tugboat for many years before trolling ever began.

Are you suggesting tha GodJesus aren't Chris' servants who are supposed to make Chris' life as easy as possible?

To be fair, using one's religious beliefs to justify failures and unsavory attitudes to life is hardly unique to Chris.
