Okay Kiwi's, I've been playing this game since last night and I must say, it's scarier than Five Nights at Freddys (it really is. Check the wiki, it does show some of the disturbing things at the cost of spoilers if you think it's no different from FNAF). As in literally scarier than Furry Fun-time at Pizza Place. Premise is, you are some schlub that enters a haunted house. At first it comes off as 2spoopy4me but once you reach a certain number of rooms in the double digits, it actually drops the pretense of looking like some cute haunted house walking simulator. So, anyone here played the game before? Discussions are welcome.

Leaving the steam link. It is free

I don't think it's scarier than FNaF. I know it's been updated recently, so maybe I'm wrong. Basically once you learn the patterns of the monsters it seems pretty easy. It is a fun little game, though.

I've been playing it off an on when it updated. I started when there was only something like 400 rooms available and I'm excited to see it on Steam. I can't say if it's scarier than Fnaf since I haven't really played it but Spookie's does deliver on the jump scare, creepy, and cute categories. It's kind of repetitive and there's a random room that uses an audio clue puzzle to get through that's really annoying but those are my only real complaints.

The last build I played was 800 rooms and it looks like the guy(s) making it have all 1000 done now. I guess it's time to hop back in.

I saw Markiplier play this. It's pretty cool how it goes from goofy cute to pretty damn sinister the deeper you go. Especially after you start getting the entires on the computer.

That is the thing with patterns. Knowing layouts of a room will be easy though some creatures will make it moot such as the Puppet or the new version of Specimen 10.

On a side note, perhaps scary isn't really the best word to use though it does give a bit more than FNAF does, at least with some of the more disturbing things one can come across.

Is it just me, or do those bottomless pit rooms spawn more often when you're being chased by the Happy Mask Salesmen as of the latest update?

Seems like a neat game. I went to a twitch stream where a developer of the game was guesting and they shed some light on what inspired various parts of the game. The deer thing is supposed to be The Beast from Over the Garden Wall, there was a Dead Space part the part where you had the hide from the dude was very Clocktower/Amnesia/Au Oni

Can't tell but the Happy Mask Salesman can go to hell. He's the one thing that killed me in the game compared to all other specimens,
Satan
included.

It is a sort of neat game. Granted it can get tiresome going through the same room layout but some of the specimens do add variety, especially the likes of the evil deer furry or the scythe wielding guy you have to hide from.

Spooky and the cat are fricken adorable and the only things that got me through the harder levels.

Yes! I love the hell out of Spooky's. It's always good to see a horror game that doesn't take itself too seriously, yet manages to still be pretty unnerving.
