Springtrapp - Batshit Otherkin Pedophile Sadist and Her Brainwashed Child Bride

Then what's the point of having state laws regarding something the federal government covers?

The law that applies to situations where state and federal laws disagree is called the supremacy clause, which is part of article VI of the Constitution. The supremacy clause contains what's known as the doctrine of pre-emption, which says that the federal government wins in the case of conflicting legislation. Basically, if a federal and state law contradict, then when you're in the state you can follow the state law, but the feds can decide to stop you. When there is a conflict between a state law and federal law, it is the federal law that prevails. For example, if a federal regulation prohibits the use of medical marijuana, but a state regulation allows it, the federal law prevails.

Okay, I have to ask: under what circumstances did Lawrence and Adam start having sex while on Skype with you? What the hell happened there?

What strengths do you see in Lawrence, and how does the relationship with him benefit you? What are you getting out of this, to be blunt? I don't mean any disrespect here, but he honestly projects a persona of extreme selfishness, so I'd be curious to hear if he's different when relating to people he cares about.

Not quite. QPP is like...platonic soul mates I guess? I'm bad at explaining but like, I'm platonically connected to Adam on a step even "best friends" can't quite explain.
That still doesn't explain why it needs to be queer platonic partners. Is that connection only something that non-straight people can experience? If so, why do you think that is?

If I could change anything I'd definitely make us both happier. Adam too, because it's hard to be depressed, especially when your partner is too.

I can understand that. Wanting to make your partner(s) happy goes without saying, but doubly so when aforementioned partner(s) have trouble being happy at all in the first place. Depression sucks, man.

I'd still like a response to the last question I asked - not sure if you missed it or something, you've got quite an influx of questions and things to address.

How has your relationship with Lawrence impacted your life and other interpersonal relationships?

And I think I'll tack on a couple more; What sort of things (non-sexual of course, I really don't need those details and I doubt you'd divulge them) do you like to do with Lawrence? How about Adam? Do you ever feel jealous of Adam?

...That said, let's keep in mind that while the supremacy clause does technically apply in many cases, in many of those cases it's not strictly enforced, usually due to the public outcry it would cause. Take, for example, those exact same medical marijuana laws. That shit's banned federally, but it's still everywhere.

Anyway, Stray, let me join in the welcoming to the forums, even though I'm rather new here myself, haha. I don't really have much in the way of asking things myself, because I'm really tired, so I'm just here for the welcome. Lot of stuff is going on in this thread all of a sudden, isn't it?

Please remember that people are only responsible for their individual messages, and the tone of various members will vary from interested to supportive to vitriolic. It's something that's good to keep in mind, you know?

Would there really be a public outcry over a greasy 19 year old getting it on with a 16 year old and getting jailed because someone called the feds?

Yes, there would be a public outcry over removing "Romeo and Juliet" laws. The federal government can't apply the supremacy clause to ONE case. If they apply it to ONE case, they have to apply it to ALL such cases, and suddenly two 17-year-olds born a month apart are statutory rapists for a month.

The Romeo and Juliet law applies to anyone who is 3 years apart. So say, one is 18 and the other is 15, that's legal.
Honestly? This shitty law SHOULD be removed, and I'm sure a lot of people agree because it lets predators get away with preying on minors.

@Stray Sheep It's a little fishy how you ignored my posts proving that Spingers is a pedophile. You know if someone calls the feds on them they can be jailed right?

I'm not ignoring it, I just don't have a comment because it would be too similar to comments I've already made and my posts are getting really long too the point they're giving me a headache.

Okay I understand it now. Still, three years isn't that big of a gap, especially considering I'm pretty sure Adam turns 18 soon. So why would people even want the feds to get in between them?

Lawrence goes to Adam's house all the time so I mean.

I guess his selfishness is what I like though, even though I wouldn't call it that. He doesn't take shit from others, which is something I struggle with. I let people stomp all over me and I could tell from the start Lawrence wasn't like that.

Not much honestly. I've met a lot of people through him, and my other partners don't mind him.

Chat a lot about silly things, like our interests and kin stuff and what not. Listen to music over call and make bad jokes. If I could actually be there with him, we'd probably play video games and cook and go on silly dates.

QPP? Ugh. Does Tumblr have to make up new words for everything? Is Best Buds for Life, Best Buddies, Platonic Lifepartner, or best mates too informal?
Those aren't special enough, nor do they advertise how non heterostraight you are. Every little thing you do needs to scream how special you can be.

I thought adam is 16? is he skipping a year in his aging process?
when he turns 17, lawrence is going to turn 20, and it still won't be legal.

I still don't get this. Obviously they're in the same place, but... why can't they keep it in their pants when interacting with a mutual platonic friend? Do they spend all their time together screwing around?

So, with all due respect (from one recovering doormat to another), what keeps Lawrence from stomping all over you? If he's having sex with Adam while they're on Skype with you, despite knowing you're uncomfortable, that sounds like they're taking advantage of your tolerance to be, well, intolerable.

He's 16 years old, so good job with that bit of misinformation there. It would still be illegal, since Lawrence will probably be 20 (ew).

Anyone of any sexuality can experience it I think, but it is much more common in relationships between LGBT+ people, especially arospec and acespec people like myself.

and why wouldn't you hang up? I can't imagine ever wanting to hear my friends having sex.

Because it didn't really bother me.
