So I have to ask, you say that at bootcamp, you were told you could have BPD, but what about those five or so other illnesses you've diagnosed yourself with? Were those hinted at too?

Well the first time I ever heard of him or whatever was in a fictionkin tag long ago, I mean, before I even went to boot camp I think, but I was too shy to even follow him because I looked up to him so much.

We didn't start talking until we both joined a fictionkin network together, for people kin with characters from the Mystery Skulls Animated video. I didn't even realize who he was until long after we started dating, but i really did like him from the get go. He was fun to talk to you know? And he shared some of my interests that others in the group didn't. So I guess my first impressions were, "holy heck this person is cool and I don't even deserve to have their presence on my dashboard goodbye" and then, "wow another Lewis! They're really nice and like things that I like! Cool!!"

Yes but there's a three year difference between 16 and 19, which in both states is legal. Trust me, I had some friends in a relation with a 19 year old when they were 16 and 17 and I did some research because I didn't trust the guy they were dating. For it to even be a crime I have to be four or more years older than him, and actually have sex with him.

A little sure, so have I, but I mean we've been dating for what? Almost six months now? There's bound to be changes in everything. And Adam is great honestly I love him. Not in a romantic way of course. "No romo".

And it's...hard to explain exactly, especially since it was so long ago and I'm awful at putting my thoughts into words I guess he always just seemed so much more...strong?? Than I ever was. To paraphrase something a character in one of my favorite games said, we fall for people whose positive qualities balance out our negative ones, and that's kind of what Lawrence did for me, balanced out the weakness I saw in myself with the strength I saw in him.

I think you're missing the point. People aren't constantly bringing this up solely because of legal reasons, they're doing it 'cuz an adult having sex with a minor is a fucking disgusting and morally bankrupt thing to do.

It's still federally illegal, and as far as I'm aware the Romeo and Juliet law is the only thing protecting Springers from getting jailed.
That law has allowed pedophiles to get away with preying on minors.

In what ways has Lawrence most notably changed? Is there anything you'd change about him - for either him or for yourself? How has your relationship with Lawrence impacted your life and other interpersonal relationships?

Aw damn, I overlooked your post, sorry. That post was getting long anyways. It's making me feel sick looking at it.

Anyways they weren't, but I heard about them from friends and such and a lot of the symptoms sound like things that really apply to me. I can go into detail if you want, but I'd rather not make a long ass post explaining how fucked up my brain is.

It is, but Lawrence, Adam, and I have each other to get through this.

Really the big thing is the basis of his identity, but I mean I do that too. My identity hops around a lot and I pick up pieces of their personalities, or the pieces I already had started to stand out more.

If I could change anything I'd definitely make us both happier. Adam too, because it's hard to be depressed, especially when your partner is too.
