So I've only been aware of this person in relation to how she knew Stray Sheep. What ended up happening to them? Last I knew, Spring/Grease had gone awol from the internet for a while when Stray's notoreity started up.

Nuka is actually kind of endearing in his incompetency, though. Plus he's basically Andy Dick's fursona which is pretty funny. I guess part of what throws me about Nuka (and Todd and Oliver and the other cutesy/non-edgelord characters in her kin lists) is that they seem so out of place amongst the cannibals and serial killers and child murderers with which she so desperately wants to identify. I can't tell if she's trying to be lolquirky ("I WILL BATHE IN THE BLOOD OF YOUR CHILDREN but I also like bunnies ^_^") or make it look like she has depth and layers and whatever. She seems to lack any real personality outside whatever she's latched onto for her headmates, so when I see stuff like this it comes across to me like an android or something trying to emulate human behavior through incomprehensible, artificial means.

But I'm probably giving her way too much credit. She's probably just going through a list of things she liked as a kid and adding characters to her collection of soulbonds as they catch her fancy.

I don't think Greasetrap was ever "normal" by any sense of the word. Even when she was a kid, she was probably that weird kid in everybody's kindergarten class who ate bugs for attention, and that kid in sixth grade who was always drawing mutilated corpses in her notebook during class. Someone like this has probably always been a freak, but she has become exponentially more fucked up since joining Tumblr.

I have the sneaking suspicion that there wasn't a whole lot of active, nurturing parenting in Springtrapp's life. At least not one that would look at Spring and feel nostalgic.
