They posted some new updates
I no longer own that channel. I was sued by Discord, and we settled. Spy.pet is never coming back, and anyone who claims otherwise is simply lying.

It seems that spy.pet was compromised
Nothing was compromised. What happened was that a group of genius individuals at a billion-dollar corporation made the channel private, which released the username. Then, someone with too much time on their hands decided to 'hijack' it.

It would be a shame if a certain .sql file just happened to appear here. A real unfortunate incident that

@skunt Why would a corporation who has plenty of funds to completely fuck over an individual through the legal system pay off the guy they are fucking over? A civil lawsuit by itself would bankrupt the average joe.

You have to have significant amounts of money in order to have leverage, or to even be on equal footing. Maybe he could have made some sort of expose style counter threat. But with only 100 followers on his telegram channel and so many press agents willing to provide cover for pedophiles if the pedophiles tell them that they are trans or gay, there isn't a whole lot of hope.

Just look what Null went through. He only got on stable ground once he was able to crowdsource over $100k in order to threaten to sue people slandering him. B-grade press was all about providing cover for pedos.

I get why the average joe doesn't think they can muster what it takes to fight this. Could you?

There's loads of reasons.
It's faster to simply pay someone a few thousand to simply delete everything and fuck off under threat of further action.
It's cheaper to settle than paying your own legal team to push it forward.
It's less bad PR, as in it doesn't make the rounds in mainstream media again. Don't forget, discord is trying to IPO.
It's flimsy to begin with? A user broke your TOS, whoop de doo.

Not to mention that if you can quietly shut them up and delete everything, then fix it so it doesn't happen again you don't risk having the entire thing be leaked and everyone using it as intended - IE digging up the various CSAM sharing discords and the media getting a whiff again. A few thousand to make an ugly problem go away is a rounding error, a pittance to a billion dollar company that's trying to appear legitimate to wall street.

Can anyone post in that channel or just the owner? Might be worth posting spy.pets official statement above if you have a decent burner to stop people getting scammed.

Don't get involved in bullshit though just drop the warning.

You can always do this by yourself with DiscordChatExporter. Logs the contents of the servers you're in.
People also used it to leak the private stuff in UTTP's servers.
that still doesn't compare to the massive logs @spy.pet has that he for sure should NOT unexpectedly find it leaked in a 4chan/sharty thread o algo
