I rewatched the video, he does make a joke about Mandalore driving by a school and calling it early access, and then calls youtube a den of predators while a picture of hyenas is on screen, so you could say both terms of the word were used in the video, but when he explicitly says predator he refers to a hunting animal, not a sex pest.

i like it, but i do feel he's very formulaic, like i know he's played frostpunk and thought about doing a review but then i imagined it in my head and he's actually very meh, his format is simple, introduce a simple game with easy mechanics, joke about roles/characters, discuss the basics of the game, talk about the plot and then the 2nd half is mainly him tellnig you the griefing strategies.

like i said with frostpunk, he'd introduce the alt-history plot, then the different classes of people (jokes about gender equality, and cruelty to children) talk about the decision you can make regarding either law or religion. Then joke about forcing people to work 24 hours a day and live on saw dust and without housing.

more bits about the basics about how the generator works and the upgrade tree and food,etc. tell people the stuff from the meta (like in endless space) or repeat stories from the community and act like they were his own (as seen in ss13 episode)

include some not PC jokes for us spicy bois and boom, instant classic video.

There's some mild retarded shit. Namely the steam forum has a "No racism plz guys" which is whatever and expected. Especially if they had the heads up about the sssethtide.
But then they also added this blurb to their feature suggestion box, which is just fucking weird to me.



As for the game itself it's not bad, but definitely early access. It probably needs another year or two + modding support and multiplayer improvements before it's really worthwhile.

So it seems to be relatively safe. But I have a feeling the game will never expand with new factions because the Devs will try to autistically Balance it rather than accepting that no matter what they tweak something else will get broken I'm the process.
