The story isn't even good either failing to intentionally fail the goals in the finale literally doesn't matter. This is a game where the whole appeal is being in a setting wherein one has joined up with a shady megacorp to do fantastic blue collar work, and put the player in a situation where "Don't you just feel like ruining all of this stuff that you currently enjoy? Don't you just enjoy being literally forced into taking action against the company that you explicitly play this game to be a part of?"

This makes me think that the people who wrote the story actually have no idea why people play these games (manual labour simulators).

They look down on the working class so hard they genuinely cannot even fathom why anyone would unironically enjoy blue collar work instead of just learning to code.

Its like if someone wrote a harry potter sequel and thought that it should end with harry destroying all magic in the world because they (the writer) don't understand the appeal of magic.

So far disconnected from the target audience, they legitimatelly do not comprehend the appeal at such a fundumental level stemming from their hatred of proles that they can't even pretend to try and write something that would appeal to the people who will play the game instead of something that will appeal to them personally.

I liked it, but that's because I had no idea what EDF was and I was more busy being impressed at the game to notice the video's actual quality since its the exact kind of game I adore.

I can see why people who are familiar with the game wouldn't like it though, most of sseth's videos are injokes for people who've already played the games, that one was more targeted toward people who've never heard of it.

I guess I'm weird because I watched the whole video and liked it. It's not as good as some of this other videos though. The world of tanks one in particular was the height of the absurd humor I have come to expect from Sseth's work.

I didn't hate it at all. The "take your pills" bit was kind of convoluted but I get why he did it that way and it worked reasonably well. It makes sense in light of his explanation that he's working with the other guy in an effort to both produce more content and try new things.

I'm not sure if the editor was retarded, didn't know the difference or just wanted some "moonrunes" since that's Kanji not Katakana (I'll let you decide), former of which is based off Chinese. Your version of 白人痴道 wouldn't work in Chinese since most of those "Way of the X" are three characters combos and not four.
The usage of the term is much more insulting than "fool", since 白 ="worthless" 癡 = "idiot". Fyodor Dostoevsky's Although in modern days it's not as offensive as it once was, The Idiot is translated loosely into 《白癡》.

Katakana is not inherently used in all Japanese terms or names for things since Kanji is basically borrowed from Hanzí it's used in all sentences and sometimes in a partial next to a kanji for whatever fucking reason as a whole ass word (see: my signature)

Most japanese long ass words are two or three characters but some formal medical terms look like chinese because they're so long. I guess the more appropriate term would be "白人の痴道" to make it more correct grammatically because I'm pretty sure the joke was a play on "武士道" (bushidou) which is a Japanese thing and also Sseth is a giant weeb and his neckbeard editor likely is too.
