The flip side would then be also having every modern camera basically write a full pedigree of information into an image so you can trace it all the way back to the individual device and then further back to the individual components and factories. The only alternative to that is just simply disregarding all video and photographic evidence as it could be AI generated. This technology should not exist and I'm starting to believe this is not something that humanity created themselves.
