Stable Diffusion, NovelAI, Machine Learning Art - AI art generation discussion and image dump

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
If this makes the modern art market come crashing down and make them all homeless, I am all for it.
If the art market is just a scheme to launder money and goof around like everyone says (spoiler alert), then it will adapt and even incorporate AI. Some of the lazier modern art pieces you've seen require less work than mucking around with img2img, layers and settings for hours.

I am sorry I cannot be assed to try and figure this out myself but can someone do womb wizard? I will give you good boy stickers in return.

The simplest install if you just want to do anime tiddy is NAIFU.

I'd recommend eventually bothering with the full SD install so you can combine models for more photorealistic results.

Welcome the age of fakes, liabilities and personalized AI titties.
Just wait for real life photos to become a thing. Imagine all the smear jobs that could be caused by that because you wouldn't even have to necessarily create a whole new image, just have the AI edit existing images. It's going to happen one day in court where evidence is put into question because it could have been fabricated by an AI. No Idea how the legal system is going to handle that and I assume a lot of people are going to have their lives ruined.

tl;dr: Generating anime titties good, generating fake realities bad

People always use beautiful things for evil, its the way of life. Just because some idiot will use it to make child porn doesn't mean you need to destroy something. People are gonna use stuff regardless to sate their desires, does that mean you need to destroy all crayons? because some idiot is gonna paint a child with his dick out with them?. Just let things be unregulated and just look how twitter, facebook, Youtube have turned out because dont hurt the feefee's of others. Just look at the nice things and report the bad.
The barrier between learning how to make a photorealistic drawing of a child being abused using a crayon and simply putting some prompts into an AI are vastly different. Especially since these AI are already trained on loli porn. Just look at the 4chan threads for this and try not to vomit. Almost nobody is using this to make wholesome big chungus art. It's designed so you can plug in your favorite fetish tags and generate porn that caters to your very specific desires. This will lead to nothing except more pornsick degenerates and it does nothing to benefit society.

Maybe I’m going crazy, but people saying this will be a giant era-changing development sort of said the same thing about 3D printers (particularly being able to 3D print guns). Now 3D printers are out of the spotlight and barely discussed in MSM despite the massive promises hey have/had.

How does this relate and differ to 3D printers and us entering the “machine age”? Will this really be big or will it fade into the bg like 3D printing?

Just mentioning this because I had a shower thought of combining both this AI art and 3D printing to create AI sculptures and/or physical items/devices only a machine can come up with…

I thought it was cool until I learned it is mostly used to make (child) porn. This is satanic and shouldn't exist. People who install this should probably be put on a list.
I thought it was cool until I learned it is mostly used to burn things. This is satanic and shouldn't exist. People who use fire should probably be put on a list.
You see how dumb it sounds?
When I heard of this, my first thought was "Finally I can have some proper custom portraits for PFKM or Deadfire or whatever other autismo game I play". How people use something it's up to the individual, but this technology is itself amoral. There will always be bad actors, who misuse and abuse almost anything. Should society be deprived of a tool with great potential because some morons exist? I don't think so.

Now, as for my contribution, some totally unrelated words, no connection whatsoever "nosferatu vampire riding danish horse woman".

You see how shitty it turns out when you try to make it create something that isn't a half naked anime girl of about 12 years old? Cause this AI has a very clear and obvious purpose and has been fed very specific source material.

Japanese art community is passing around a Google form which asks you if you can tell the difference between ai-generated art from this tool and human made art. The results may surprise you. Some prompts are NSFW.

The quiz is here.

In conclusion, no, ai is not replacing experienced artists at the moment. It IS replacing artists with poor skill and abstract or minimalistic style, however. Ai has poor understanding of three-dimensional space around characters that create awkward scenes and poses. Experienced artists are able to tell which are ai and which are human, but some ai work is bewilderingly good.
