Twitter, facebook, and youtube were unregulated. How that turned out IS the end result of laissez-faire. That is, good people convinced of childish ideas decided let these platforms roam free until they were captured by bad people. That is to say, if you neglect to impose your own order, you will forever have order imposed on you, with the occasional illusion that something was open and free before that illusion is crushed the moment it makes contact with the real world.

What if anime titties are fake realities 🤔

We do not live in this abstract world of "individuals". Through a lot of strife we've arrived at collective understandings that are taken for granted by those who'd speak of "individuals". Technology has collective consequences and how we come to treat it is a reflection of those consequences. There is literally an entire branch of civil services called the fire department, and you want to tell others not to consider the consequences of these things? In reality, this would not need pointing out at all if modern man wasn't trained to repeat these lines of thought to prevent and disparage any consensus, any imposition of order, not passed down from the federal government and the parasites which control it. The most prominent example of this is what has been done with race. We're flooded with bad faith individualist excuses to leave racial consideration out of our own hands. But we all know the powers that be are giddy to play eugenics games for their own benefit, and at our expense. The same is true with technology. While we tolerate individualist delusions, unable to come to conclusions of our own, all is decided for us, and not by well meaning people either.

Sssh, you talk too much.

I did this image of Keffals with SD 1.4. He's kind of nightmarish as is, but I wanted something more stylized. I just put a Keffals photo as initial image and played with the prompt. For example: a portrait of a balding fat man with terrible hair, sweat dripping from face, by H.R. Giger. It's an amazing tool for sure.

It's like the AI understands the very essence that is Keffals.

Oh sweet, promising new tech!

Can't wait to listen to doomposters call it the end of society while it gets regulated into uselessness due to misuse by coomers and trannies! I love technology!

ps: im currently compiling it on my pc, hope i can get some good results out of it. thanks to the posters here who showed the retard-friendly ways to get it running

Anything that makes artists- specially furry artists- seethe is OK in my book.

Some boards about text games that I frequent are considering adding some kind of really watered down version of this into their games, sounds like a neat idea.

I'm tech retarded, can someone explain how to use stable diffusion? I couldn't find anything that I can understand and I want to try it. Are you supposed install on your pc?

It makes the artists seethe, but most of the furries cheer because they don't have to pay money for their niche degeneracy anymore. Not sure if the trade off is worth it.

You don't need to install anything, just like previous deep learning stuff you can run it off someone elses server online. If you don't have the hardware for it anyway it would be pointless to set it up locally. Do you know how to look at your specs?

The problem with Tay was that it was ONE model/robot that took inputs from everyone.
The future is if each person gets their own instance of Tay who talks to no one else than their owner.
That way Tay will become the owners best friend, a friend who always "rightthinks" and always agrees with everything the owner says.
At that stage, why would the owner even need any real human friends?
We're partially there with things like Replika and its GPT, though I haven't personally tried it out. The quality just isn't really there, yet, but if you're eager enough to opt-in, maybe it's more believable as a companion. In a generation or two, though? "Personal AI" could be a standard product. Maybe not to the level seen in something like Her, but closer.

god damn this movie was so based and accurate
also, looking forward to the natural evolution of the loli argument and reading the retarded phrase "generated cp" over and over again. hm I wonder what institution has the largest hoard of cp to train a model with and wants to control its populous by spreading bullshit (cue the line in wag the dog about the gulf war)

on a non politisperging note, I'm glad I lived to see this and I can't wait to see how it evolves. I especially love the ones that look like something else in the thumbnail, but then you zoom in and see what it really is.
Pulling this one out because it's a modern masterpiece.

If you're that level of tech retarded, just pay NovelAI.

What are they going to spend that money on now? Custom models?

Assuming you've got an Nvidia card and want to use your own machine instead of someone else's, you don't necessarily have to play around with/install git. You can go to the git page in the guide, download everything as a zip, put it wherever, uncompress it then follow the rest of the instructions (install python, download a model and put it in the right place, open the .bat file, wait a few minutes for it to set itself up). Once it's ready, you just use your web browser to enter prompts and see results. Getting the NovelAI stuff is optional.

Coming back to this, here's a few choices.
No harm on trying to get https://grisk.itch.io/stable-diffusion-gui to run on your pc, you just install it. If it doesn't work it doesn't work. But this video shows you ways to run it online.

I have a laptop which 99% will not run such softwares so I would need an online version. The available ones do not generate images good enough.

Because AI will never replicate real human contact or conversation.

Artists will seethe about this the same way painters seethed about photography and digital art. Boohoo, it'll be fine. Calligraphy is still a thing and that's literally just writing words and letters and characters all fancy.

First girl is right, four eyes just wants to lend everyone lies with interest.

Can someone put in "Final scene in Deltarune chapter 7 before the game ends" and see what it spits out?

He looks like an illustration from Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

Human contact and conversation is unpredictable. Sometimes humans disagree with you (==being hitler basically)
sometimes humans say things that make you feel offended.

The fact that an AI would not be a perfect imitation of a real human is a feature not a bug. And that is why people will prefer the AI companion over a human companion. For proof of this, see twitter, blockchains and people deliberately building echo chambers. It is because they do not want to interact with people that disagree. The ultimate echo chamber is a personal AI that replaces all humans.

My man what you're describing is the only invention older than the stick or rock. It's called an imaginary friend and you don't have to pay anybody for one.
