So what are the best local image generation models everyone is using now in Automatic111 and ComfyUI?

- Realistic Vision is solid for realistic photos, same with ICBINP
- Dreamshaper is sort of the Midjourney-lite for SD1.5
- RevAnimated is strong for 2.5d
- AOM3 is great for anime

Beyond that, just search for fun style LoRAs on CivitAI and mix and match until you get something cool. Another great resource is the images view, where you can search for the general idea you want and get ideas for base models, LoRAs, or prompts.

Personally I just scroll around Civitai looking for the most downloaded stuff or the pictures and look for stuff that looks like what I'm trying to do. Then click and see which models and Loras were used. All it costs to try a new one is download and disk space. (Which at 6GB for SDXL is getting tight.)

Generally yes, but they could slow things down somewhat in the short-medium term. The fact that coomers can't use tools like Bing basically guarantees that there will be a popular open source set of alternatives though. That is just too much latent demand for them to shut things down entirely.
