One thing I've found with SD3 is that prompt adherence seems to be much better. Especially with multiple subjects it seems more able to understand the wings go on the dragon, not the woman.

It's frustrating the actual model isn't released yet as I'm finding it comparable to SDXL and yet the community hasn't had a chance to do anything with it, yet. Meaning that the ceiling of what it can produce is likely much higher. It's like the change from 2nd to 3rd gear, we're the same speed now but we're about to accelerate.

"About to" in this case probably means July for it being released and then at minimum a couple of months before we see really interesting new models based on it. But still, I'm eager. It comes in three versions going up to 8bn parameters. SDXL is, for comparison, 3.5bn. Apparently the 8bn version can run in 24GB VRAM so I might be able to do this. Which will be stunning. Though it's pushing it so may have to drop down the 4bn parameter version locally. Looking forward to it, though.

PonyXL does a half-decent job, maybe 1/3 were acceptable. It's surprisingly good in general if you prefer more stylized images.

I assume you use () with weights of 1 on full descriptions of the two subjects. That's usually what I do, and the results have been good. For example:
A (woman wearing a red dress, with blue eyes:1) with a (tall man wearing black pants and a suit:1), hand holding, Street, centered, looking at viewer. ...<Quality tags>

Regional Prompter is something to definitely learn to use if you want to prompt for more than one character. It works extremely well and if I’m using A1111/Forge, I’m using it for every image I generate.

Here’s a really detailed and well-written tutorial on how to use it. The entire thing is worth a read, but I primarily use the masking feature (outlined in part three of the document) for my usages. It’s basically inpainting but on a blank canvas. Coming to grips with the prompting takes a bit of time, but follow their example a few times and you’ll understand what’s happening and how it all works. The bit about Adetailer is also exceptionally useful.

Also this reminds me of one of those stupid Dove commercials, where they show "AI" generating attractive women, then slap their logo into it and it starts generating ugly women.
