There were Jews in his movie. If he talked more about Islam in general, it’s because it was and is a third rail to say that Islam encourages violence.

It's funny because on his podcast recently he talked (to Dr Phil, I think?) about the metzitzah b'peh thing where the mohel sucks the blood out of the circumcised baby's dick and how messed up it is. So he is aware of that stuff, maybe he couldn't put it in Religulous without facing a boycott or something.

I know, right? It was so disappointing. Out to Lunch was probably one of my favorite specials in recent memory, so I don't know why his new one sucked. I really hope his YouTube one wasn't just a fluke because I really like Normand (although I get why he annoys some people.)

I'd also like to recommend Matt McCusker's special that just came out on YouTube. The first ten minutes kinda sucked, but then the rest of it was fucking hilarious. Good stuff.

Theo Von has his moments, but is also a one note shtick and is obviously making up shit about his upbringing in the South constantly.

I used to think Tom Segura was the actual talented guy in the Rogan crew, but he seemed to get really pompous as he gained fame from his Rogan connections.

I know nothing about this but it appears to be political satire, right-leaning - there was a "cancelled" comedian on the bill who wasn't identified, I wonder if that's the guy? A whole "cancel culture" show is not exactly my thing but that announcement is ridiculous with the ALL CAPS emotional breakdown. Jerry Sadowitz getting his shows shut down at least year's festival was the beginning, he's not political and intentionally offends everyone. Now this.

EDIT: it was Graham Linehan. I would not pay to watch him attempt stand-up, but if the show had just gone on I doubt anyone would have known it existed.

I’ve never seen someone so destined to off himself than Bert Kreischer. Seriously. I’ve never seen someone so riddled with doubt and self hate.

His entire career is cope. He’s in full blown delusion about his alcoholism too. Take a look at his face whenever he makes an appear on anything now, that guy his trying to hide that he’s wasted all the time.

If he was a regular guy with a regular job he’d have been escorted off the work property by security a long time ago after an uncomfortable conversation with HR and sitting in a bar blaming everyone else but himself.

He can still kinda function at the moment but the second he becomes a serious liability all his other celebrity friends will drop him faster than Bill Burr did.

It’s going to be a long entertaining fall that will probably end up with the murder/suicide of his family.

he's way past the age where it starts affecting your brain. Stanhope was never that big of an alcy which you can prove by the fact that he could go without drinking for an entire month and not suffer a single side effect. meanwhile its rather fucking obvious Bert can't do that whatsoever, in fact most alcoholics can't. Doug was just overexaggerating.

I like how Rogan has no qualms about having spicy guests on JRE, though his habit of making the interview as much him as his guest takes a bit of getting used to.

His stand-up is run of the mill LA comedy scene sausage factory stuff, though.

As for why Kreischer is so popular... the clue is in his name.
