I mean that normally, that wouldn't be enough for Nintendo. Perhaps they're more lenient for less-valued IPs like this one, as Nintendo is constantly harassing the Palworld guys no matter what.
The fangame Pokemon Uranium, despite being practically all original content for free, was nuked day one and that was it.

Reminds me about how the Metroid 2 fangame was nuked because Nintendo wanted to release the remake for the 3DS (which sucked compared to the fangame). This guy must be luckier, but in before he's struck again once/if his game achieves full release status.

The weird thing is that the fangame that got dragged into the IGN and steam shenanigans was a Zelda fangame and it was around the time Nintendo released Bow and ToK so he basically was as hard in the crosshair as possible and still nothing happened.

From what I recall Lindsey actually got C&Ds already but ignored them because he thought they were fake and since nothing happened afterwards he was apparently right.

Also I'm not sure why people act like Nintendo closing the original download links of popular fangames is a big deal, I mean Pokemon Uranium and AM2R are still available to download and if EH gets shot down after the full release people will just reupload the files too.
So the only real danger is the game getting shot down mid development.

The VA is also trying way too hard, you can really tell that the register he's having her go for is outside her natural range.

He was more salty that in the og 64 game Katt Monroe was just a goofy flirty girl character based on Marilyn Monroe (though SF64 is notable for being hammy as fuck) so he just got salty that Nintendo made her a crack space pirat and the new video is basically just "remember goofy 64 Katt who isn't a crack addict?"

Smash is just based on the star fox 64 fox but made more realistically textured, with the most recent smashes giving him boots more styled like the gamecube era game fox. He's been really consistent IMO

Only Smash 1 and Melee are direct homages to 64. Brawl takes some ques from Adventures and Assault hence the increase in fur textures and Fox's head and eyes being bigger. Smash 4 takes from Command which has been his default design for the last 20 years and Ultimate just continues the trend now looking way more like he does from Zero/Starlink.

Okay, I'm gonna have to clear this up because I keep seeing people say Katt's a mercenary. She's never been a mercenary. She was part of a delinquent group with Falco, called a "bousouzoku" which is basically Japanese for biker gang. Falco was the leader and it was called FREE AS A BIRD. She's not a military person, she's a floozy biker chick, except the "bike" is a space jet.

It was more about the sheer laziness of a multi-billion dollar company to not even show their new game being played by a human - but by a jpeg hand - in the first direct to show off their reboot of a reboot of a reboot. Jesus man...

Star Fox is the only Nintendo franchise I'm even remotely interested in beyond a passive awareness of, so this one isn't nearly as funny to me. Despite that, I can definitely see the resemblance and I'm almost certain it was at least partially an inspiration after watching it.
