With the recent announcement of the new Star Fox game,
Do we got any Kiwis who like the on-rails space fox fans? 2026 is turning out to be the year Star Fox gets some love.

Yes, Nintendo, you love starfox 64 just as much as a japanese surgeon loves Falco Lombardi, can we get an actually new star fox game without a shitty gimmick and a brand new story with new characters?

I missed the announcement for this and all I have to say is the character designs being like AAA uncanny furry things instead of muppets angers me on a level I did not know I could feel.

people say they look like the old SNES puppets but I don't even see that in any of them save for like maybe slippy.

Seriously thought hese designs look like if the crossover ubisoft game that had them redesigned them for ubisoft instead of making them the really cool looking HD versions of their normal designs.

we got robbed of an actual star fox game (aside from zero) using these designs. Really good combo of the 64 and gamecube look.

We already played this on the N64 and 3DS do we really need another? Well, can we get the live action version on the Switch 3 as well, then?

i want star fox adventures 2, the first one was robbed of a proper boss fight.
Nintendo doesn't care about that gemmy and probably wants to forget it exists. A new adventure style game would be too ambitious and actually require some imagination and effort. Rail shooters are way easier to program, I imagine.

New game looks pretty good, even if it is technically the fourth remake of the original game. I'd be more annoyed if Star Fox 64 wasn't one of the best games ever made.

Looks like they forgot the WiiU Star Fox Zero too, the one they fucked up with motion controls. They will never admit its failure because it was Shigeru Miyamoto baby. I still remember the video with Shigeru Miyamoto after they released a patch, that they claimed would fix the problem. It didnt fix shit at all because motion controls will never work with a Star Fox game. Thats how it goes when you have to much YES men on the team, and no one dared to say no to Shigeru Miyamoto. So now they pretend that WiiU Star Fox Zero dont exist.
