Grok is insane, dude. I don’t think this should be legal to generate.

She’s the Peter Davison of this franchise. Maligned in her time, but she's the only one who's still...acting. Everyone else turned into lounge acts.
Of course Bill Nye is on the red carpet for the ultimate Tranny Trek experience. Of course.
I work for the Manhattan flagship of a clothing brand. The lady boys on our staff would probably tell these actors to dial it down. Looking like court eunuchs of a syphilitic emperor, or something.

I am sure this has been discussed before ITT, but I am the only one that thinks the "odd bad, even good" thing for the first six movies is wrong?

I thought I and III were both great movies.

Okay, V was a bit weak, yes, but it's not unwatchable.

I think the issue is moreso that Wrath of Khan was just so influential and important and Good that everything has lived in its shadow ever since no matter how hard people try to get away from it because A) they can't hit the same entertainment level/sales as previous well received one and B) fans love and go on about number 2 so much that execs and producers just go fuck it, remake it again but change it slightly so we can get those accolades and dollars again.

It's kinda similar to Silent Hill where 1, 3, and 4 are great but generally no one talks about them because 2 was/is just so influential and lives rent-free in enthusiast and normalfag heads so you end up making everything as soft remakes of that instead. (Generally.)

SH1 was the first time a video game made me scared to do anything. Do I really need to progress forward? I could just sit here.

RE was still on "find the spade key" shit. SH1 was like, “you can’t see anything, your radio’s screaming, go fuck yourself.” (Granted the fog was doing 80 percent of the work, Konami was like, “we can’t render past three feet,” and the devs were like, “uh, that’s the monster now.")

Star Trek has the opposite affliction. They had two good villains and refused to let them die until fans begged them to stop. Now Paramount is just confused. They don't know what Star Trek is without Khan and the Borg.

And Star Trek doesn't need to be just revenge stories and explosions and CGI spaceships. Done right, they could make a great story about what it means to be human and a mystery to be solved and action and adventure without the tired "I want revenge!" story.

Finally got to Sub Rosa. Who the fuck wrote this crap and why the fuck did none of the actresses stop them?
I think the actors were just happy to put on normal clothes and not be stuck in some ship corridor. That’s always what they go on about when you ask them about The Royale or Fair Haven crap; just relief at not wearing their uniform to bed.

From reading the wiki, apparently all the women involved loved it while all the male writers thought it was hilarious that they got Gates to pretend to have ghost orgasms past the censors.

I mean, come on, this thing smells like cancellation. Kurtzman’s name is stamped on it like a herpes sore.

"Relax, we've got a couple of STD refugees.... And Bob Picardo? " The idea that Robert Picardo is some kind of seal of quality is a grave mistake. The fact that Bob is out here comparing himself to Yoda in interviews is honestly alarming.

Journey's End writers: "Heh humanity has evolved beyond those dumb superstitious religions like Christianity and nobody cares about those beliefs anymore but these Native American superstitions are accepted as completely real and we have the upmost reverence for them."

I doubt most people who claim to be fans of ST even watched Voyager. They just have likely "heard" is the worst of the 90s tv shows and that's it.

Mike Stoklasa is right: these people only know the memes and there aren't memes about Voyager.
