Dunno if this was posted already, but anyway someone put together a movie on the Wolf 359 massacre, using official clips and some made-up ones. Probably AI-assisted, but OK.

OH. MY. GOD.
Lexx! I had not thought about that show in 25 years.
Lexx makes Farscape look like SpongeBob. It’s not even a space show, it’s like purgatory but with ship interiors.

Also here’s nudity because Canada doesn’t care.

I stayed for Prince and Giggerota. Giggerota looks like if DeviantArt became a person.

Grotesque carnival freak villains who are actually interesting. Modern sci-fi villains have no sauce.

God I loved Michael O'Hare's performance in B5. If the illness never happened I think he could have been one of the greats. Sisko tier even.
Agree 100%. O'Hare had a great presence, voice, and absolutely nailed his acting notes. One of those rare actors that could take the silliness of the series and still treat it respectfully and seriously while avoiding lapsing into melodrama or irony. I love all the cast, actually, especially Garibaldi, but I think I'm just hungry for characters that have any semblance of writing and thinking behind them versus whatever on-screen therapy shit the millenial/gen X retards handling things are doing these days.

Lexx was a staple for SF starved millenials growing up in Canada as the Canadian version of the SciFi channel, Space, showed it all the time. For a young, impressionable lads it was a frothy mix of innuendo, violence, and insanity. And then straight up softcore by season 3. I absolutely adore it because there's a lot of heart in there and it's so fucking weird and sickening in many ways but I will take strange and unique any day of the week.

Something something, star trek.

The nonstop sex talk and nudity was juvenile cable nonsense. There's also some very mean satire, definitely Verhoeven-pilled..

Speaking of Horny show, I'm finally done with S1 of Enterprise.
As I mentioned before this is my third try to watch it, and the old adage rings true: Third time's the charm!
Years of garbage makes me see past the gripes I had about it when it aired. But yeah as far as horny goes, this is by far the show with the most sex shoved in it. Full Rick Berman touch at this point. Humans are out there galaxy and we're ready to fuck aliens! Look out!

But anyway, I used to hate the sex aspect of it, I remember seeing what T'Pol looked like and those decontamination scenes and calling it Pornterprise when it aired, and my second gripe was that I didn't gel with most of the crew but seems they finally are growing on me now. It's funny how each Captain have their own style of command and it seems Archer's the best at playing dumb.

"What can you tell me about your starship."
"Our protein resequencers can make chicken sandwich."
*WAMP*

It's just kinda fun seeing Humans try to make their place in the galaxy and at least compared to Nu Trek, we're still seeing Humanity at their best for the most part and that competence porn I need from Star Trek.

Why can't the decontamination chamber spray the stuff on the crew like a spraytan?
Who's gonna tell him?

Archer is the Inspector Gadget of captains. He's such a buffoon, everyone around him thinks it's an act because nobody is that stupid.

We can make "Tilly so fat..." jokes again? The Star Trek thread is saved from endless Babylon 5 posting.
So she must have spent her entire paycheck on Ozempic if those recent pictures are anything to go by.
I have a hard time deciding if Avery Brooks is a really shitty actor, or a really good actor. Am I alone?
I've seen some of this other stuff and it's all just okay. In DS9 he really can be all up and down, he feels like Nick Cage at times, you never really know what you're going to be getting.

Didn't Braga talk openly about wanting to go spelunking in a giantess?

That sounds like fanservice. This is just two actors in a car wash rubbing Space Banana Boat on each other.

The other thing I’ve started to notice about Enterprise is how sanitized the wiki is. It's just a parade of upbeat quotes from Braga and the cast. The only time anyone got mad was the finale. It’s so corporate. Old Trek people would at least admit when something sucked.
